I would give a negative review if that were possible.
I would give a negative review if that were possible rather than just a one star review.
Argos. Badger Farm Argos (Inside Sainsbury's).
Absolutely appalling service!
I made it crystal clear at the outset that I wanted a fully working phone.
The male shop assistant took my money and only then slowly make it clear that he cannot sell a working phone.
He refused to give any instruction on how to do this myself.
An utterly disgusting attitude from a man who should, without question, be sacked.
This required multiple returns to the shop because I was completely unable to make a phone call.
The most utterly contemptable attitude that I have ever experienced from any shop assistant.
I wanted a phone that would make and receive phone calls and he simply could not sell me one.
But I was only told you that after the shop assistant selling the phones took my money and just stood there with his hands in his pockets. He did this on every occasion that I returned to state that I could not get the phone to make a call.
Utterly disgusting attitude.
He also refused to refund my money because he “thought” that the phone works although he could not demonstrate it working.
Quote from the male shop assistant: “I know nothing about any of the phones here”.
The shop assistant even suggested that I take the phone that he had sold to me to a phone shop to get it working!
These people are on minimum wage and they are not worth anything at all.
Avoid this organisation if you want to buy something that works.
Despite the information on the Argos web site there seems to be no way of returning a faulty phone or getting a refund and so it is going in the bin.
The very worst of market traders are not anywhere near as bad as this.
Under UK law, items sold have to be fit for purpose.
This phone is worse than useless as buying it from Argos has just wasted my time.
