I wish i had better news but after a simple comparison Summerwood's prices have become FAR too high for what they're offering. A few years ago they were competitive but sadly no longer. I was about to pull the trigger but when i ran the numbers at least 3 other providers offered similar options, similar build qualities for much less.

I went to Topeka Ford dealership to get a new car and they totally played me with the extended warranty. They said it was a 5-year deal, but turns out it just adds two years to the manufacturer warranty, making it only 2 years. I got a 2019 F150 and the transmission keeps slipping and revving up. I’ve taken it in multiple times, and every time they say they can't find the problem and charge me $190 for diagnostics. There's a class action suit for this exact issue, but they’re just waiting for my "extended" warranty to run out in three months. Plus, they tried to charge me $770 for u-bolts that another mechanic said were perfectly fine. The guy at the service center was rude and had zero personality. Never buying from Topeka Ford again.

I bought a 2018 Ford Escape SE from a dealer three years ago when it had 50,000 miles. Now, with just 90,700 miles on it, the engine block is toast because of coolant leaking into the cylinders. Apparently, Ford knew about this problem and never bothered to send out a recall or even a warning. I had faith in Ford to be upfront and reliable. When I reached out, they said they'd only cover the issue up to 87,000 miles. How convenient, right? It seems like they only cover it until then because they know the engines will fail shortly after. Ford really dropped the ball on this one.
