I was pretty nervous after reading a bunch of bad reviews, but my experience was surprisingly smooth. Called them up, and they offered me way more than the other big guys. In North Carolina, you gotta get your title notarized, but it was no hassle. Sent them the paperwork, and they got everything sorted quickly. They said the tow truck driver would be in touch, and sure enough, he called to set up a same-day pickup. He arrived right on time, really nice guy. Handed over the notarized title and keys, and he gave me the check. I was a bit worried about the check, but I cashed it at the bank the next day with no issues. Got the bill of sale emailed a few days later. Honestly, I’d use them again.

I had a frustrating experience with this company. After spending an hour on the phone, I thought I had a guaranteed offer to sell my car. But when it came time to schedule the pickup, they backed out. They insisted they could only pay the person whose name is on the front of the title, ignoring the reassignment on the back. Their rep said I'd need to register and insure the vehicle to get paid, which seems absurd. According to CT law, ownership is clear on the title's back. They should be upfront in their ads that they only buy registered vehicles. This feels like a scam, and I'm considering reaching out to my attorney, the CT DMV, and consumer protection for their misleading practices.

So, I went through this wild ride selling my car recently. Everything seemed cool at first; we shook hands on a price, and I thought we were good to go. But hours before the drop-off, out of nowhere, they slashed the payment, citing some "system change." I tried calling and messaging, but it was like shouting into a void—no responses, no promised callbacks. Just crickets. The final blow? An email saying “corporate bought your car at $5,500.” I reached out to Copart for help, and they just bounced me back to CashForCar.com. What started as a straightforward deal turned into a mess of broken promises and shady tactics. Now, it seems like legal action's my only hope to get this sorted.
