I was trying to buy my daughter a bat using her gift card and put the remaining balance on my card, but not even Louisville customer care could help with a split payment. I contacted Bats Plus instead, and he jumped in right away and got her the bat she wanted. The whole transaction was easy and took about 5 minutes. They also sent it out immediately, which meant she had it in time for her first travel tournament. Her first hit with it was a homer. Thanks, Bats Plus — you’ve earned a customer for life.

Bats Plus looks like a real, established online sports retailer rather than some obvious scam site. I’d feel fairly comfortable ordering from them, though if I were buying an expensive bat, I’d still use a payment method with buyer protection and read the return policy closely before placing the order.
