I had a nightmare experience with a moving company. At first, they were super eager to get me to sign the contract, making all sorts of promises about guiding me through the process. But once I paid their fees, which had to be by cashier's check (probably so I couldn't dispute it later), things went downhill fast. On moving day, the crew arrived hours late, around 5 or 6 pm, and then tried to get me to sign a new contract on a tablet at midnight, without explaining anything. When my stuff finally arrived, so much was broken—lamps, TV, dishes—and my mattresses were wet and filthy. They offered a measly $184 for all the damage. Communication was a mess, too, with random texts from unknown numbers. Avoid this company, seriously.

I gotta share this crazy moving experience with Caddy Moving. So, the movers were supposed to show up, but they got "delayed" four times. Every excuse under the sun, pushing our move to the next day. We even had to extend our U-Haul rental, which was totally not cool. Each time, a new arrival window came with a different customer support number, and guess what? No one answered! Waiting for hours just to get a basic update was beyond frustrating. When the movers finally arrived, it was clear they weren't pros. One guy was okay, but the other couldn't lift much, which was a big issue for heavy furniture. Worse still, they admitted answering a Craigslist ad the night before. So, Caddy assured us movers were lined up, but that was far from the truth. The company’s operations and communication were just a mess. In short, it was a nightmare, and waiving the fee didn’t cover the stress or extra costs. Seriously, ask around for recommendations and steer clear of Caddy Moving.
