    When I first submitted my application, I was told I was pre-approved and that all I needed to do was come in, finish the paperwork, and choose a car. I heard that twice, so I went in feeling hopeful and excited, especially since I’d been looking for a car for a month and kept getting turned down because of my credit score. I was also told there might be no money down, depending on the vehicle. The first person who helped me was very polite and friendly, and I appreciated that. But the salesman, or whatever he was, came across as condescending and not helpful at all. He ran my credit again and immediately said I would need to put down $7,000, without even asking what kind of car I wanted. It felt like the only thing he cared about was the money. He also said yesi credit is not a dealership but a credit repair company, which made me feel like I’d been misled. On top of that, he kept talking about how much money he made and other things that had nothing to do with why I was there. I honestly feel like all he did was run my credit, because he wasn’t gone long and when he was out front he seemed to be outside on his phone or talking to other people. I left feeling very disappointed and close to tears because I didn’t feel helped at all and was really upset by how I was treated. He also kept saying I was pre-approved, but the only number he gave me was that one huge down payment. It was a horrible experience all around.
