    When I picked up my rental car, I mentioned to the staff that I had already bought insurance through Booking.com. They nodded, but somehow, the rental agreement still included their insurance. I only found out later that this extra cost was deducted from my deposit. The whole process felt rushed, and all they showed me was a tiny screen with information mostly about the car's existing damage. No mention of extra insurance charges at all. I even double-checked with the attendant if there was anything else to pay, and they assured me there wasn't. Despite showing Budget my original insurance documents, they refused to acknowledge their mistake. It felt like they just didn't care. Next time, I'll definitely look for a more reliable company.
