    Refund request on a wall oven with a faulty door seal went smoother than expected. I sent photos, support replied by email with a prepaid label, and the inspection turned around fast. Refund posted shortly after confirmation, which was a relief. Communication was short and to the point, which I prefer. What stood out was not having to argue about return shipping on a confirmed defect. Clean process, minimal friction, happy enough with it.

    BHO CHIMNEY SWEEP

    DO NOT USE BHO CHIMNEY SWEEP. My experience was in the Beaverton, OR area. They use 3rd parties who are not licensed as I found out later. I scheduled for a chimney sweep to come and the guy showed up in a sedan, no company affiliated items. Had a shop vac and a few brushes and a small bag. He looked everything over in about 1 minute and I told him most things were new and it just needed a good cleaning. He agreed and laid out 3 "levels" for cleaning options. I picked the second one, a supposed deep cleaning, since it had been a few years, and he then went to work. 15 minutes later, he was finished. At the end, he said their credit card machine was down, and my only options were cash or Venmo. He charged me $599 for what was a basic chimney sweep. In my area, that shouldn't be more than $300 tops. He then left, and there was soot everywhere, ground into the carpet and all over the tiles. I mistakenly didn't do research ahead of time, but this was a classic upcharge and bait-and-switch. I called their standard line and was told management would call me, but unsurprisingly, I never got a call back. The local number that called the day of to confirm the appointment started going to voicemail. I hope you see this before you get taken advantage of like I was.
