    I purchased tickets for Atlanta, round trip from Montana. I looked several times at the listing before I purchased them; I received a confirmation email that said the ticket was pending; after all night, I called the company and was told that the return ticket was standby only, he said all this was explained on the site (which I never saw, even after looking again. I was told I cannot cancel the flight, however after over 30 minutes on the phone, including being on hold, I called my credit card company and cancelled the flight.

    I tried out Koala and was pretty impressed with the quick responses to my questions. Their customer service is top-notch, always there when you need them. The fees are on the higher side, but honestly, they’re not unreasonable. I get why they have a 3-day cancellation policy; it's fair considering the owners have costs that cancellation insurance doesn’t cover. They lose about $125 on canceled bookings, which is a bummer. I’m experimenting with just one booking under $500 to see how it goes. The VIP benefits don’t quite meet the average member’s needs, but if I have a few successful bookings with Koala, I’d consider paying for VIP status. It’d be great if it covered the cancellation insurance and reservation fee.
