    Our day trip to the West Highlands from Edinburgh was wonderful! I really enjoyed it, the views were stunning and the guide’s stories made the history come alive, giving us a deep sense of the culture. It was truly amasing!

    We spent a lovely week at Secrets Bahia Hotel in Corralejo to mark our 40th wedding anniversary. Truly a 5-star place, always spotless and well looked after with really kind and helpful staff. The meals were delicious all week, and the drinks at the bar were great too! The only problem we noticed was that the 15-minute rule for empty sunbeds wasn’t really followed. When we went for breakfast almost every sunbed had a towel but no people. Why do some folks act so selifsh on holiday? It would be better if unused towels were taken away after 15 minutes like we were told on arrival. Another small letdown was the area around the hotel. We even thought our taxi driver got lost when he drove past old run-down buildings that turned out to be right opposite the hotel. Such a pity the front view wasn’t nice, though the back view was lovely. Jet2 also gave very good service on our flights. Everything went smoothly and the crew were wonderful. The free drink on each flight was a nice touch even though it was already in the cost of our trip. All in all, a very good holiday even if the island itself looked a bit dull.
