When we sent our 6-month-old pup for a 3-week ‘boot camp,’ we expected her to learn a lot more than just ‘here.’ We only managed to get in one follow-up session before the weather messed up the next two. No calls or texts from the trainer to reschedule, just radio silence. It's been 6 1/2 months since she got back, and we finally got a message from the trainer, but only after I nudged the owner. The trainer promised to call the next day, but weeks later, still nothing. The owner said sorry, but the communication didn’t improve. Plus, they assigned a trainer who’s not even local. We’re left feeling pretty let down by the whole experience.
