    Booked the consult, then got access to the portal and a calendar of calls. The first group session was direct but caring, which is exactly what I needed. Daily check-ins kept me honest, and the tools were simple enough to apply at work and home. Price is premium, yes, but the clarity I got around my habits was worth it. Payments and onboarding were handled smoothly by the coordinator. I felt seen, supported, and, importantly, accountable.

    I joined PLM in June 2022, and during the recruiting process I made it very clear that I had a 9-month-old baby and was caring for her on my own since my husband works offshore; she was even present in the meeting. They promised I would only need about 15 hours a week for the course and practically pushed me to take the loan, even though I said I didn’t have the $9,000. They also assured me I’d be making an average of $5,000 to $10,000 within six months with just one product. I had a lot of doubts and asked several times, but they kept telling me everything would be explained in the course and that it was all true, so I believed them. After three months, I ended up in an extreme stress crisis, had to put my baby in day care because I didn’t have time to study or keep up with the course, and my marriage almost fell apart because of the stress and exhaustion. On top of that, everything they told us about spending only $2k to $4k extra was also a lie. I spent around $35k in 2022 plus the $9k for the course, and after a year I’m now $30k in debt. It really is a scam, and I do not recommend it.

    I took part in the iX Management Consulting Abroad program this past summer in Cape Town, South Africa, and after coming back to the United States, it’s clear to me that it was the best way I could have spent my summer. The student group was incredibly diverse, with people coming from different universities, and I ended up meeting so many new friends along the way. The weekly cultural excursions were a great part of the experience too, since they helped me get to know the area better and opened up new places for me to explore. The industry expert leading my course was amazing, and even now she has kept helping me with my recruiting efforts since I returned to the U.S. My internship with a great local startup also gave me valuable hands-on experience that I can put on my resume and bring up in future job interviews.
