I made a modest donation to a local candidate mid-August and have been harassed now for several months via unsolicited text messages that I never signed up for. It was a direct result of my donation via WinRed as the problem did not exist before that encounter. There is also no option when filling out the candidate donation form to request personal information not be shared or sold, instead I learned after the fact you have to go through several steps to request via a web-document for your information to not be sold or shared. It should also be noted that I use top of the line Computer Security packages that prevent trackers, malware, virus’, etc. so that is not the root cause of the insanity I have been living through for the past three+ months with no end in sight.
Very disappointed and will never use this site again as I continue getting hammered daily with text messages. Not a good look for an organization that is supposed to support the conservative party..
