The company seems alright. A few of my coworkers used them and liked it. My main thing was how fast they helped me out when I needed it. I wanted to close my account, and they sorted it out quickly. Third-level support did their checks, and it was all good.

The company's provision of ISP services appears to be associated with malicious organizations engaged in hacking and phishing activities. Over the past few days, I've encountered numerous attempts to compromise the security of my email and WordPress account. All traced IP addresses consistently lead back to DigitalOcean LLC.

We've been with DO as customers since 2018. We faced a security breach recently, where an unauthorized user took control of our account and created some droplets using our API key. DO support proved to be highly effective, ultimately helping us secure a waiver for the billing that exceeded the norm. Reflecting on my six years with DO, I must say the overall experience has been consistently positive.

Appalling experience with Digital Ocean. They arbitrarily suspended our account, leaving us without crucial resources. A cautionary tale for businesses entrusting them with hosting. Customer support responded with a condescending tone, amplifying the frustration. Won't consider using their services again.

I had a contract with Paperspace

I had a contract with Paperspace (acquired by Digital Ocean in 2023) to use a VM for a long time, but many service interruptions, including entire days, badly impacted my business. I requested a partial refund, but they refused with no reason. Digital Ocean was informed but didn't do anything. Avoid this company; they don't care about their customers.

My experience with DigitalOcean has been frustrating. My account was blocked for no apparent reason, and attempts to create a new one met with similar issues. Connecting payment methods, such as Apple Pay and PayPal, also resulted in account blocks. Support's inability to resolve these issues has left me dissatisfied. While DigitalOcean may offer cost-effective solutions, its unreliability makes me consider pricier but more dependable alternatives like Azure.
