READ FINE PRINT BEFORE COMMITTING!!!!
The original problem: Autorenewal occurred for $100. Called immediately to inform Lasta I did not want to renew. Were never issued any warnings in the weeks leading up to the auto-renewal
Lasta refused to issue a credit. Be careful when you sign up. READ THE FINE PRINT. Mark your calendar before renewal date. Most reputable vendors will acknowledge one's desire not to renew and issue a stop & credit. They did not. Very disappointing.
Wrote a review on Trust Pilot site and Lasta replied quickly .... implying they'd remedy the billing problem. We followed their instructions to provide contact details so they could issue a credit to resolve the problem. They never reached out to us.
Cynically, one might believe they posted a reply Trust Pilot to imply to the public they'd fix things. Optimistically, one might assume they're just slow and will eventually fix things. Very disappointing customer service
Due to their lack of follow-up, our 3rd attempt was to reach out via their support email address. This time they issued a reference # **** with a commitment to resolve in 2-3 business days. It’s been 7 business days.
Again, key take aways – no sincere or timely follow by customer service and READ THE FINE PRINT so you don’t get hit with auto-renewal without any warnings like reputable vendors provide.
