  • These guys are seriously pricy. I mean, their challenge fees are high, and their commissions are even higher. Plus, they take 20% of your profits, which feels like too much. There are definitely other futures prop firms with better rules, easier challenges, and more favorable profit splits. People probably get attracted to their daily payouts, but honestly, I'd rather keep 90% of my earnings with a weekly payout than hand over 20% every day. It really adds up over time. If they weren't so expensive, I'd probably rate them higher. But for now, it's just not worth it.

When I first joined IU, I felt like I was entering a treasure trove of knowledge. It's incredible how the community is always ready to help you understand every concept deeply. The members are active and always share insightful guidance. I love the webinars and video recaps - they're super engaging, and the moderators are quick to respond to all our questions. They break down complex ideas so well that you can actually see how a thesis or idea comes together. Honestly, for new traders, it might seem a bit overwhelming at first because there's so much to learn. But if you stick with it, you'll find IU offers a solid grounding for your trading journey. For those with some experience, it might take about two weeks to get the hang of their terms and methods. Once you do, you'll be trading with more confidence and might even start contributing to the chat groups!

I had a pretty good experience with this firm overall, but there's one thing that really bugs me. They have this express challenge where you need to hit 25% consistency, no wiggle room at all. So, for a $50k challenge, you need to make $750/day for 4 days. Sounds reasonable, right? But with trade commissions, it's impossible to hit that exact number. I ended up making $750.28, $750.38, and $753.28 the first three days. Even if I get $750 tomorrow, I'll still need to trade a 5th day just to make around $15. Other firms have a small buffer for this exact reason. I feel like they should update their site to be more transparent about this. If they fix this, I'd easily give them 4 or 5 stars, but for now, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for a more forgiving challenge.
