This company's deceptive practices
by Sandy Lightman

This company's deceptive practices and lack of accountability are appalling. They masquerade as representatives when you're paying bills online, pocketing your money, and failing to pass it on to the intended healthcare provider. I fell victim to their scheme, paying a $4.95 "fee" on top of my bill, only to receive another hospital bill a month later. Attempts to contact DOXO were futile. Resorting to a credit card dispute, I paid the hospital directly, discovering DOXO had no agreement with them. Shockingly, in January 2024, my credit card was recharged. This company exploits customers, jeopardizing credit and causing unnecessary stress. Beware and pay your bills directly to avoid their unscrupulous practices. I'm escalating my complaint to the BBB, FCC, and Arizona Attorney General. Steer clear of DOXO for a hassle-free experience.

Caution! Avoid using this service for
by Deborah Z.

Caution! Avoid using this service for insurance payments. It only prolongs the payment process, causing potential issues with your policy. I received a response from doxo, and there's no confusion – payments can take 7 to 10 days to reach the intended company. If you have auto or home policies, steer clear and pay directly to your agent or insurance company. Using doxo may lead to delayed payments and potential policy cancellations, as they are not affiliated with insurance companies. Your payment isn't considered complete until the mailed check reaches your insurer.

by Ben

Discovered an alarming issue: a stranger's credit card details in our profile, unrelated to our bank. Customer service dismissively suggested unlinking and adding a new card. Alarming lack of security and adherence to software engineering norms. Potentially violating credit card processing laws (PCI DSS). Thankfully, found an alternative by contacting the service directly (Quest), avoiding doxo's $3.99 processing fee. A cautionary tale, highlighting dubious practices and potential risks with this platform.

Paying a fee surpassing 3.6% on Doxo.com left me feeling foolish
by Hank Schueler

Paying a fee surpassing 3.6% on Doxo.com left me feeling foolish. Despite submitting my payment early on Thursday, the confirmation disclosed it wouldn't reach the payee, Dominion, until Monday. This delay and the shockingly high fee dissuaded me from contributing to Energy Share for the needy via Doxo.com. The combination of excessive fees and postponed payment processing significantly dampened my experience, prompting me to reconsider using the platform for future transactions and donations.

by Carrie Carr

I must express my dissatisfaction with this company. Rating lower seems impossible. Attempting to sign in and recover a forgotten password led me into an endless loop. Despite following the instructions, the promised option to change the password never materialized. It proved to be a frustrating experience, leading me to abandon the attempt altogether. In the future, I prefer settling matters directly with creditors rather than navigating this inefficient platform.

by Cheryl

What I like most is how easy it is to pay my bill online. It's quick and simple. The only issue I have is that it's hard to see the bill amount. I always have to search for it. It would be good if it showed on the main page when I log in. I get my bills online. I don't use paper, so sometimes I forget the amount or can't find the email.

I'm confident in the company's bill
by Nellybell Cheek

I'm confident in the company's bill payment system; it generally ensures timely payments. Admittedly, there was a single instance of non-payment, attributed to my incomplete data entry. This lapse resulted in a late fee, serving as a lesson for better diligence on my part.

Doxo failed to address my concerns
by Delores

Doxo failed to address my concerns with Chase, leading to the non-payment of $1037.00 to ULTA. Despite my claim, they persuaded the bank to overlook the issue. It's disappointing that the payment to my merchant remains unresolved, prompting me to seek legal advice.

It's easy to pay my bill to the VA
by Anonymous

It's easy to pay my bill to the VA without having to go through a big hassle of verifying this, verifying that. I can log in once and be right there. I like how they show the options of bills to pay, and I like that I can print any screen for my records.

The exorbitant prices
by Susan Goskowitz Tomka

The app deserves a 5-star rating for its functionality, but the exorbitant prices compel a lower rating. While I'm tempted to give it just one star, it wouldn't be entirely fair. The app is great, but the pricing aspect leaves much to be desired.

This company demands payment
by Lorraine Pennington

This company demands payment for processing medical provider payments, coercing users into creating an account and pushing subscription offers. The process of settling a basic bill is an unpleasant ordeal, leaving much to be desired.

This company is pretty easy
by Joanna

This company is pretty easy to use, but sometimes it doesn't show my balance correctly. It would be great if it could do that because I'm not always home when I want to pay my bills.
