Sometimes a popular place shows sold out or rotates off the list, which can be annoying, and I had to dig to pause auto-renew once. Still, the predictable pricing and quick pickup windows have saved me from doom-scrolling menus every day. Worth it for office days.

    I remember watching the little courier icon creeping toward my building and thinking dinner was saved. Then an item would go missing and chat would be slow or weirdly scripted. That was before everything wound down. I opened the app recently out of habit and it was basically a skeleton. Kinda sad. If you still see charges, don’t wait. Cancel and confirm it’s actually gone, because chasing a ghost company for a refund isn’t fun.
