Been trying Home Chef for a bit now—about three months, I think. We get four meals a week for two people, and honestly, they've been a game-changer. Every delivery has been on point, and my husband can't stop raving about the meals. They're super tasty and definitely not the same boring stuff we used to make. I love that I still cook fresh meals, but everything's already measured out perfectly. We’re not big eaters, so there's always enough left for lunch the next day. No more wasting ingredients or buying more than we need. Meals usually cost around $20-25, which is pretty fair considering no waste. Pausing for travel was easy, and though I haven't tried others, Home Chef's working great for us.

I ordered groceries through the app, but things went downhill fast. The app showed my order as delivered with a photo, but the chat said the shopper needed my name and room number, which I had already given. The hotel staff told me the shopper took the order back, claiming there was an app issue. Instacart refunded me, but when I tried to reorder the same items, it cost me $21 more. Plus, the delivery was supposed to arrive 8 hours earlier! It’s frustrating to deal with this kind of mix-up, and I ended up paying extra for something that should have been straightforward. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

I decided to give this delivery service a shot, thinking it would make life easier. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did they mess up my bill, charging way more than expected, but trying to get it sorted with their customer service was a nightmare. It felt like no one knew what they were doing, and I was left on hold forever. The management didn't seem much better either. Honestly, it's probably quicker and definitely less stressful to just head to the store myself. If you're considering using this service, I'd seriously reconsider. Save yourself the headache and just stick to your usual shopping routine. It’s not worth the hassle.
