    I thought I'd give Home Chef another shot after seeing a promotion. Logged into my old account just to check out the menu, didn't place an order, and logged out. Next thing I know, an order was shipped to me! My account was inactive, and somehow, they managed to charge my old credit card without any consent. Called customer service, and all they offered was a half refund. It’s frustrating because the meals they sent aren’t even to my taste. I ended up deleting my account and definitely won’t be recommending Home Chef to anyone. It felt like a breach of trust, and that's not how a business should operate.

    I had a frustrating experience with Instacart Canada. I decided to place a big grocery order, over a thousand bucks, and switched my payment method to a credit card with a higher limit. Double-checked everything, yet somehow the system charged my old card with a tiny limit. My credit card company alerted me, so I scrambled to fix it but found several confusing charges. Reaching customer service took ages, and it turns out they put a hold on your card for the total order amount and charge again for the exact amount after shopping. They don't make it easy to understand, and this double charge process can leave you with extra fees. No compensation, just a “sorry, not our problem” attitude. It’s disappointing and I’d advise steering clear!

    Let me tell you about my ongoing saga with InstaCart. It's been a comedy of errors, if comedy was frustrating and involved groceries. My orders keep landing on the wrong doorstep, like my groceries are on a little adventure without me. Despite giving clear instructions, the drivers often seem lost. No issues with DoorDash, but InstaCart? Different story. The last straw was on March 16th. My order was sent to the wrong place again, so I had to call customer service, get a refund, and reorder. Even then, the new driver couldn't find me, and I had to guide her like a GPS. The cherry on top? An email saying I might get penalized for delivery issues. I've had enough; I won’t be using InstaCart again.
