I engaged with these guys to ship my car knowing that they are a broker and brokers all work the same way: they post your vehicle to an online board and drivers bid on the pick up. So, you do need to realize that they quote you a low price to get you engaged and then there is a high likelihood that price will go up since the brokers have little control over what price the driver will do the work for. That said, when it didn't work our for me, they did promptly process a refund of my deposit without giving me a hard time. I thought that was very professional.

Let me tell you about this wild ride at the rental place. I booked a standard SUV, even got an email showing a Kia, right? But when I got to the DTW location, it was pure chaos. People in front of me were getting told their cars weren't there, and they had to settle for whatever was left. When it was finally my turn, they pointed me to a spot where my car should've been, but guess what? No car. Back to the counter, more waiting, and then they offered me a sedan instead. My wife and I were too tired to argue, so we took it. Ended up with a Honda Civic, not even close to what I paid for. Tried to sort out the price difference, but customer service wasn’t having it. Budget, you've gotta get it together.

I rented a car from Budget, and it was a nightmare from the get-go. When I arrived, the salesperson kept trying to upsell me, even after I told him several times I already had full insurance. It felt like he was ignoring me on purpose. Then, he tried to push an unwanted car upgrade on me, which I clearly said no to. When I finally got the car, a pickup truck, it was a mess—trash in the back and all. I had to clean it myself later at the hotel. But the worst part was when I returned the car at the San Francisco airport. I accidentally left my Ray-Ban sunglasses on the dashboard and ran back to get them. Only Budget employees were around, and my glasses were gone. Tried to contact them, but their system is a joke. Between the pushy sales tactics, dirty car, and the theft, it was a horrible experience. Budget really needs to step up their game.
