    I had a frustrating experience with American Van Lines. I hired them expecting a smooth move, but they outsourced my job to another company without informing me. I had already paid upfront, thinking everything was sorted out. When the movers showed up, they refused to move some of my items, like my safe and anything with glass, unless I forked over extra cash. It was infuriating, especially since everything was supposed to be in writing. One of the movers was downright rude, and trying to communicate with American Van Lines was like talking to a wall. It felt like they didn’t care once they had my money. If you’re considering using them, be cautious and ask tons of questions first.
