    I booked a move with Extra Mile based on their glowing reviews, but what a nightmare it turned out to be. It cost me twice what they quoted and took four days instead of one. First, they switched movers on the day of the move, then called to double the price right as my stuff was being loaded. They even messed up the mileage, so the mover refused to deliver until he found another gig on the way. My belongings? A disaster. Everything was just thrown in the truck, leaving my wooden furniture smashed and glassware shattered. The damage was beyond belief—chunks missing from my bookcase and a broken chemistry table. I called to sort it out, but all I got was a manager's voicemail and radio silence.

    Moving from Ashburn to Leesburg was quite the adventure, and Carlos and his crew made it a breeze. They showed up right on time and were super organized in handling all the chaos that comes with moving. Our old place was left spotless, not a single scratch to be found. When we got to the new house, they set everything up just right. We were a bit indecisive about where some furniture should go, so we had them move things around a few times.     Yesterday, I had quite the experience. I drove nearly an hour to help a customer move. Everything was going smoothly, and we spent over five hours making sure everything was perfect. But when it came time for payment, the customer just vanished—no calls, no messages, absolutely nothing. It’s frustrating to put in all that work and then get ghosted, especially here in Houston/Cypress, Texas. This app turned out to be a complete nightmare. If anyone knows how to prevent others from falling into this trap, please let us know. We need to look out for each other in situations like this. Stay safe and cautious, folks.
