Man, where do I start? I thought renting a car would be straightforward, but dealing with Budget was a nightmare. Right from the get-go, things went downhill fast. The service was lousy, and every time I tried to get a straight answer, I just got more frustrated. And it didn't stop there. After I returned the car, there were unexpected charges that no one could explain properly. It's like they just didn’t care. I’ve never felt the need to write a review before, but this experience was so bad I had to share. I won’t be going back to Budget, and honestly, I’d warn others to be careful. It was just awful.

So, I rented a car from this company last May, and it was quite an experience. When I picked up the car, they noted some damage on the right-side rims, and I was cool with it since it was already there. Fast forward to returning the car, there wasn’t anyone around to check it back in, so I parked it myself, filled up the tank, and snapped some pics to prove it was in the same shape as when I got it. However, later, I got this damage charge which didn't make sense because I didn't add any new scratches! I showed the photos to the staff, but still, they invoiced me. It's puzzling that such a reputable company could mess this up. I’m hoping they’ll sort it out soon!

I recently had quite an experience with this company. Initially, I got an email confirming my bill would be $250, which seemed reasonable. But when the final bill arrived, it was a whopping $500! I called up customer service, thinking there must be some error. The representative on the line just casually mentioned that my base fee had been raised. When I asked for an explanation, all she could say was, "it happens." Really? That's the best they could offer? It's frustrating when a company can't communicate changes clearly or even bother to give a proper reason. It left me feeling like my concerns didn't matter.
