KlassWagen.comTotal rip off, Do not use them On October 11 2025 I went to pick up my rental from their Faro location in Portugal. I had booked and paid for the vehicle through Economy Bookings. I met with **** expecting a quick pick up process. On reviewing the contract **** explained at length that since I didn't have an international drivers license, only a valid USA one, I MUST pay an extra 173.94 euros to have incremental insurance coverage. He stated that is normal policy for all European car rental companies and if I refuse my only option was to cancel the rental agreement go back to the airport, and rebook with another rental company. My girlfriend and I had traveled from the USA to attend a wedding in Lagos and if we actually did cancel the agreement, go back to the airport, rebook a car and then drive to Lagos we would be too late for the wedding. Based on this I had no option than to agree to pay the incremental insurance coverage clearly stating the extra charges were unacceptable, agreed to them under duress and would dispute them on return to the USA. I regularly travel both nationally and internationally on a regular basis and know that: 1. **** flat out lied to me regarding European car rental agencies mandating customers using a valid USA drivers license need incremental coverage when renting a car in Europe. 2, In the conversation I stated that no extra coverage is necessary because firstly I purchased the rental on a Chase credit card whose benefits include car rental insurance coverage. Beyond that I also showed **** my contract with Economy Bookings clearly showing I had already purchased full insurance coverage. 3. In demanding that extra coverage not outlined in the initial agreement must be purchased or he will cancel my valid contract is clearly breach of a valid contract. On return to the USA I did follow up with an email to Klass Wagen and I've yet to get a response. My experience isn't unique since several other customers' reviews complain of similar experiences with demands for adding extra company based insurance. Klass Wagen is a total rip off and basically stole 175.34 euros from me.

Ebike Rental MljetWe rented e‑bikes for half a day on the island and the gear was in perfect shape. The staff were friendly and gave us useful route tips. Exploring the hills felt easy thanks to the electric support – definitely worth it.
