    I navigated through a debt settlement program with Advantage Law, and while they did manage to halt my interest accumulation, I'm left with mixed feelings. They connected me with Credit 9 for a $20,000 loan to clear my remaining debt. The interest rate was a staggering 25%, plus a $1200 origination fee. I found myself locked into a three-year plan with nearly $1000 monthly payments, which felt overwhelming. The interest would’ve amounted to almost $10,000 if I'd stuck with it. They paid off my debt with Advantage Law before I'd even seen the paperwork, which seemed sneaky. In hindsight, shopping around for other loan options would've been wiser. Advantage Law and Credit 9 helped, but it came at a high cost.
