Our experience with CAE Online has been extremely disappointing and harmful to our business, AST Scientific. We placed an order for specialized equipment and paid $26,000 in advance, including crating fees, trusting their representations of timely delivery and reliable service.
Despite repeated assurances, we did not receive the equipment for over three months. Each update from CAE Online contradicted previous statements, providing new timelines or excuses that were never met. Communication was consistently misleading, leaving us unable to plan or take alternative actions. Multiple attempts to escalate or clarify were ignored or met with vague, unhelpful responses.
Based on our experience, we strongly urge other companies not to trust CAE Online with advance payments and to avoid signing any contracts they present. Their practices created repeated problems, delays, and financial loss, demonstrating a negative pattern of mismanagement and repeated dishonsesty.
The contract presented by CAE Online required advance payments and contained terms heavily favoring them, offering minimal protection to our company. In our experience, signing the contract and paying in advance directly contributed to repeated problems and delays.
The impact on AST Scientific has been significant: operational disruptions, financial loss, wasted staff time, and lost trust in CAE Online as a supplier. Attempts to resolve the matter directly were unsuccessful; responses were limited to broken promises and vague explanations.
