FanShield.comBought a ticket for a show, cost me about $60, and given the tight budget, I went for the FanShield insurance. Come Friday night, I started feeling really rough—coughing, congestion, the whole works. Had to skip the event, which was a bummer 'cause over 1,000 folks were going. Tried to claim a refund, but hit a snag—they wanted a doctor's note. Problem is, my doc's office is shut over the weekend. No note, no refund, they said. Learned the hard way, I guess. Next time, I'll read all the fine print before shelling out for ticket insurance. Just a heads up if you’re considering it—know what you’re getting into.

FanShield.comI purchased a ticket to an event for around $60 and since funds are tight in the current economy I decided to take out the insurance offered by FanShield. The day before the event on Friday evening I started coughing, congestion, sore throat and a fever. Obviously I didn't attend the event that was attended by over 1,000 people. I filed a claim for a refund of the ticket price and they told me that I would have to have a doctor's note. I became sick on a Friday evening and my PCP's office is not open on the weekend. I was told that without a doctor's signed statement that I was sick and unable to attend that they would not refund the price I paid for the ticket. I guess I learned my lesson and will never buy ticket protection on another ticket and I suggest that before you buying it you read all of the fine print on what documentation is needed if you are unable to attend your event.

FanShield.comI had a frustrating experience trying to get a refund because of some bad weather. I reached out to customer service, hoping they'd help sort things out. But, honestly, it was a mess. The responses were slow, and when they finally got back to me, it felt like they weren't really listening or interested in fixing the issue. I expected a bit more understanding, especially since weather disruptions are beyond anyone's control. Because of this, I’ve decided not to use this insurance company again. And as for Holiday Inn Express, I’m definitely reconsidering my choices in the future. It’s disappointing when you don’t feel valued as a customer.
