    I've been hosting for over a decade and have usually had great experiences, but recently things took a strange turn. A guest booked for one person but then wanted to add another without updating the reservation. I couldn't approve that change because, well, rules are rules. Instead of understanding, she left me a dishonest one-star review, claiming I didn't communicate, which wasn’t true. I provided all the info she needed from the start. Surprisingly, Airbnb sided with her, which felt really unfair. It seems Airbnb's standards have slipped over the years. I really hope the company makes some changes soon to restore trust and fairness for hosts like me.

    I was really excited about my trip to Vietnam, but things took a turn even before I got there. I had booked this cozy Airbnb, seemed perfect from the listing. But out of nowhere, the host asked me for an extra $180 for electricity, saying my stay was long. This was never mentioned in the listing, no notes or anything. It felt like a last-minute rip-off. I refused to pay, so I had to cancel my whole trip. Now, it's been over a week, and I'm still waiting on my refund. Airbnb support is dragging their feet, not really helping out. They should back up the guests when hosts pull stunts like this. My plans are messed up, and I’m stuck without my money. Definitely reconsidering using Airbnb after this mess.

    We had a blast staying at Soak up the Sun with the family. The bedrooms were huge, giving everyone plenty of space to relax. The main level was perfect for hanging out and having fun. The pool and hot tub were fantastic—everyone loved them! Being so close to the beach was a big plus; it made our beach trips super easy. The rooftop was hands down one of our favorite spots. We spent hours up there, just taking in the amazing view. We’re definitely coming back for another stay.
