Starting out in the voiceover business, I set up a home studio and snagged a 1982 U87i from Vintage King. Over time, I’ve gone through countless mics, always searching for that perfect sound. It took me years to realize that in voiceover, you need something that captures your voice naturally. I missed the magic of my old Neumann 87i, but finding one now is like searching for a unicorn, and the cost is sky-high. I tried several "vintage 87" replicas, but none felt right until I plugged into the Dachman 87i. It was like reuniting with an old friend. This mic has that rich, classic Neumann vibe but with a smoother edge. It handles EQ wonderfully too. Props to Dachman for offering such quality at a great price!

I tried out the DA FET 47 mic and had some mixed feelings. It's a solid mic, but I felt like it could use a bit more boldness and presence in the sound, kinda like the original U-47 had. That being said, dealing with the company was a breeze, and Joshua was super helpful throughout the process. He made the whole experience really smooth. I'm now keeping my eyes peeled for the tube version of the U-47, which I'm really excited about. I hope it brings that extra oomph I'm looking for. Fingers crossed it comes out soon!

Wow, this mic blew me away! I've got a TLM 103 and a few other decent ones, but the DA67 adds a whole new dimension to my recordings, especially for vocals. Unlike mics that can sound too clean, this one has a rich, stereo-like presence, almost as if it has its own built-in imager. If you're looking for a U67 clone, this is spot on. A buddy in pro mixing recommended it, and I couldn't be happier. Swapped the tube with a NOS one, and the difference is unreal—though, only do this if you know what you're doing! It's super quiet, too. Plus, with a 30-day return policy and a 3-year warranty, there's really nothing to lose. Give it a shot; you gotta hear it to believe it!
