PureHealthResearchLast year I ordered 2 prodcts from Pure Health Research. When I realized that this was a subscription with monthly auto-delivery, I immediately cancelled both orders. The cancellation was confirmed by the company. Now 6 months later they suddenly sent me the same 2 products again totally out of the blue and charged my credit card without my order. Now they refuse to send me a refund and instead want me to send the products back on my own cost (shipping costs of $40+ from my country shipped to the US). So that leaves me with only 2 options: either send the products back and lose $40+ (without being sure that they will really refund the money - the chances get smaller and smaller) or keep both products. Either way I have lost. The discussions with the customer support were so long and so stressful while constantly going in circles not leading to anywhere. Instead of really solving the issue, the customer service representative constantly tried to sell me on some stupid arrangements and didnd't respect my repeated 'No'. Later, they apologized for my "disapointment" but not even once for their misbehavior, the very manipulative conversation and their aggressive sales tactics. I'm done with that company forever. I used to believe that their products were good - I didn't feel a difference though. Besides, how good can their products be when they need such unethical and aggressive sales tactics? I just checked other reviews on Trustpilot and found three interesting patterns. #1 the standardized "friendly" responds from Pure Health Research with promises to take care of the matter; #2 like with me, they always apologize for the disapointment the customer had (indirectly saying that they're just emotional and have no reason to complain), #3 all positive reviews I have seen so far were published after the negative reviews, and they all sound the same. The pattern: 1 bad review, 2 positive ones, 1 bad review, 2 positive ones. I'm curious what PHR is going to write about my review. And I have no doubt that immediately after there will follow 2 positive reviews. Something happening once might be a coincidence, the same thing happening twice is a hint, three times the same pattern is proof.

OhPolly.comI had a pretty frustrating experience with Oh Polly that I just had to share. I paid for Express Delivery thinking my package would arrive on Saturday, but here we are on Monday, and it's still not here. I honestly don't understand why they offer a service they can't deliver on. And trying to get in touch with someone? Forget it. It feels like I'm stuck talking to a chatbot that just doesn't get it. Adding to the confusion, I received emails saying the courier tried to deliver my package, but their own tracking says otherwise. It's like, what's the truth here? I expected more from a brand like Oh Polly. Reliable delivery and decent customer service should be a given. I just want my delivery fee refunded and some straight answers.
