Not much compression to the material, and doesn't really do much to smooth you out. I bought these to wear under everyday jeans, but the cuffs around the legs are extremely thick and wide. It shows through the jeans on your thighs to the point that someone actually asked if I was wearing shorts underneath my pants! Quite embarrassing, but true. These are very short as well, if they made these available in in 9 or 12 inch and they insisted on keeping the larger, wide, thick cuff seam on the legs, at least it wouldn't show as much if it was down closer to your knees. Overall, I am not happy at all with my purchases. The worst part of it all is that customer service will not give me a refund even though I kept getting emails reminding me of the 180-day guarantee return satisfaction. I literally received an email telling me thank you for this order. We hope you like what you ordered, but if you don't, no worries, you can return it. No questions asked. Even if you've worn it. Don't believe that! Don't fall for their so-called guarantee and think that you can purchase these and try them on and wear them and return them with no hassle. They're telling me that they won't return something that's been purchased on sale. How ridiculous and absurd. Don't send out emails promising your satisfaction guarantee. If you're not going to follow through. I will not be buying anything else from this company and I will make sure friends and family and everyone else knows about their false advertising promises.
