I thought hiring a couple of guys to install windows for our small business would be straightforward. We paid them less than $15,000 for their work over a month. The insurance, though, was a nightmare. They charged us $1,600 upfront, promising we'd get some of it back. But, that never happened. Instead, we got hit with another $1,300 charge at the end.
