    I remember when this platform

I remember when this platform was my go-to for booking stays, but things have really changed. Hosts seem to just put up whatever info they want, and when things go wrong, it's like you're on your own. Contacting customer support feels pointless; they just don't seem to care anymore. It's stressful and disappointing, especially when you're left dealing with issues and no one wants to help. I used to love using this service back in the day, but now? It's just not worth the hassle. I've started using Booking for my trips instead, and honestly, it's been a much better experience. The difference is night and day!

    You won't believe the hassle

You won't believe the hassle I've had with Airbnb lately. They invited me to join this marketing program to promote my makeup artist service. Sounded great at first! I did everything they asked, jumped through all the hoops, but when it came time to get paid, it was like pulling teeth. Weeks went by, filled with stress and endless back-and-forth, and still no incentive payment. It's like they vanished into thin air. The whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly, it's been a nightmare dealing with them, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. So disappointing and just not worth the trouble!

Hosting with my wife was a big part of our life until she passed away. We had built our reputation together, even becoming Superhosts. But when she was gone, I found out I couldn't keep the account we had worked so hard on. Despite several support agents assuring me I could take over, it turned out they were wrong. I even asked a manager why their staff didn't know the rules, but got no response. Arrogant. They insisted on deleting the account, as if all those years meant nothing. It’s frustrating and unfair. If you're thinking about listing your home, be cautious. You never know how they'll handle things.

    I had this big ski

I had this big ski trip planned, and I thought everything was set. I’d rented this amazing house through Airbnb and even chatted with a rep who said I might get to check in early. But then, just three days before we were supposed to leave, Airbnb cancelled on me without a word of explanation! Talk about stress. I ended up reaching out directly to the management company and, surprise, I actually saved a bunch of money by booking with them. Airbnb’s great for browsing options, but honestly, I’d say skip booking through them if you can. Going direct turned out to be cheaper and a lot less hassle in the end!

    I had this wild experience

I had this wild experience at an Airbnb place. The host just snapped and got aggressive, which was super unsettling. I reached out to Airbnb, expecting some kind of support or action, but they totally dropped the ball. Not only did they not help, but they also wiped my review clean off the site, like it never happened. It's really sketchy how they handle things. You might think it won't happen to you, but trust me, staying at an Airbnb feels like rolling dice with your safety. It's like they cover up issues instead of fixing them. Seriously, think twice before booking. You never know what might go down.

I thought this company was going to be my lifesaver when I needed a place to stay urgently. But nope, turned into a nightmare. I was all set to book a room through their website, and then bam, everything stopped working. Couldn't figure out why, just kept getting vague answers about their system acting up. Meanwhile, it’s late at night, and I'm freaking out with nowhere to go. Felt like they didn't care at all, just shrugged it off while I was in total panic. It was like they enjoyed watching me squirm. Honestly, dealing with them felt like walking into a trap. Stay away if you value your peace of mind.

    I booked a place on

I booked a place on Airbnb thinking it would be a cozy spot for my getaway, but what a letdown. The photos looked amazing online, but when I got there, it was nothing like the pictures. Felt like I'd been tricked. I tried getting a refund, but Airbnb didn't back me up at all. It's frustrating that they don't seem to hold hosts accountable for misleading listings. Makes me question their standards. I honestly thought Airbnb was more reliable, but now I'm not so sure. It's disappointing, really. Not sure if I'll be using Airbnb again anytime soon. It's a bummer when you can't trust what you're paying for.

I had a really frustrating experience with this company. They claimed I caused damage to a home, but they didn't have any proof. The damage was already there before I even got involved. What's even worse, my kids got hurt because their cleaning was just terrible. I even showed them the evidence, but they didn't care at all. It felt like they were just ignoring my side of the story completely. It's like if anything goes wrong, they're not going to back you up. It's really disappointing when a company doesn't take responsibility or listen to their customers. I'd think twice before dealing with them again.

    So, here's the deal

So, here's the deal. I was chillin' in Bali, living my best life, when my connecting flight got canceled on March 1, 2026. I had this insurance from Generali, you know, the one Airbnb suggests, thinking I was all covered. But guess what? They denied my claim and kept my money. Airbnb says they can't meddle with what their partner does, which feels a bit like a cop-out. The thing is, there were no exclusions mentioned before payment, which feels super shady. It’s like, what's the point of the insurance if it doesn't have your back? Just a heads-up, guys: watch out for this insurance stuff with Airbnb!

Booked this place in Paris, thought it’d be a dream. Turned out, not so much. The apartment reeked of animal urine, super gross. When I brought it up in my review, the host totally flipped the script, accusing me of stuff like scratching the cooker—seriously, we ate out every night! And stealing an extension cord? Ridiculous, doesn’t even work in the UK. Airbnb sided with him, even with my evidence. Felt like they just didn’t care, and now I’m stuck paying for things I didn’t do. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely reconsidering my options for future trips. Not cool, Airbnb.

    I tried to sort out

I tried to sort out an issue with the host, thinking they'd help, but they just passed the buck to Airbnb. Airbnb seemed willing to make an exception, which gave me some hope. But then, out of nowhere, the host backtracked and refused. Felt like a total scam! When I turned to customer service for support, they were no help at all. It's like they didn't care. I felt let down by both the host and Airbnb's service. If you're thinking about booking, maybe think twice. It's not just about a place to stay; it's about trusting the people you're dealing with. And in this case, trust was nowhere to be found.

    I've been staying at this

I've been staying at this place for a while, thinking everything like heating was covered, just like water and electricity. Then, out of nowhere, they hit me with an extra charge of 3 euros a day for heating. Seriously? It's not like heating is some luxury; it's a basic need. If they start charging for electricity next, I wouldn't be surprised. I reached out to Airbnb to sort this out, but they pointed to the description, saying it was all there. Feels a bit sneaky, doesn't it? I just wish they were more upfront about these costs from the start. It's left me feeling a bit frustrated, to be honest.

    I had a pretty

I had a pretty frustrating experience with a rental service. My parents stayed in a flat for a few nights, and things were far from smooth. They had no heating for most of their stay, which is pretty unacceptable in the middle of January. The company only brought over a couple of electric heaters on the last night, which was a bit too late. To top it off, I got a call from the housekeeper on my personal mobile, and I have no idea how they got my number. That felt like a big invasion of privacy. My folks were left in the cold, and I’m considering getting some legal advice about the whole situation.

I stayed at an Airbnb that left a lot to be desired. The host, Mark, seemed nice in messages but the reality was different. The property had a gas leak, which was terrifying with two young kids in tow. And the windows? Cracked and a real safety hazard. It's hard to believe Airbnb lets hosts list places like this. I mean, isn’t there a duty of care? It feels like they just turn a blind eye to serious issues. It’s frustrating to see reviews that paint a rosy picture when the place is anything but. Airbnb really needs to step up and verify these reviews and properties for the safety of guests.

    Terrible!

You won't believe what happened during my last attempt at using that booking service. First, they cancelled my reservation right after I had already paid, leaving me scrambling. Then, at the next place, the lock code was wrong, and I was locked out with no owner in sight. The cherry on top? The third spot had construction noise starting at 7 am sharp. Seriously, who wants to wake up to banging and drilling on a vacation? I've had it with these unreliable accommodations. From now on, it's only hotels for me. At least there, I know what kind of service to expect. Lesson learned the hard way!

    I reached out to Airbnb

I reached out to Airbnb with a straightforward question about where an owner might find info on occupancy rates. Simple, right? Well, it got complicated fast. They asked for all my details—email, phone number, you name it—even though the question wasn't about my account. Turns out, because it was my daughter's account, they wouldn't let me talk to anyone. I explained I was just trying to help a friend with a general inquiry, but no luck. They refused to give me even an email address. Felt like I hit a brick wall. The staff seemed out of touch and unhelpful. Left feeling really frustrated.

I booked this apartment for a weekend getaway, and everything seemed fine at first. Then, out of nowhere, the host canceled my reservation because they realized there was an event happening and wanted to jack up the price. It's like they just wanted to make a quick buck, and I got caught in the mess. Airbnb threw me a measly 30 quid to say sorry, but it doesn't really fix the inconvenience, does it? It's frustrating because you think you're all set, and then bam, plans are ruined. Just a heads up if you're booking on here – watch out, 'cause you might not be as protected as you think.

You won’t believe what a nightmare my Airnib stay turned out to be. It was like one of those stories you hear and think, “Glad that’s not me.” Well, it was me this time. The host was just not honest at all, and when I tried to get Airnib to step in, they were nowhere to be found. I provided all the proof anyone could possibly need, but still no action. Avoid!

You won't believe what we walked into at this Airbnb. First off, the place was a mess, like someone forgot to tidy up after a wild party. The smell hit us hard, and it wasn’t pleasant. We found the bed wobbling like it was about to take off, and the bathroom door? Yeah, it refused to lock. Not to mention the floor, each step was like a mini symphony of creaks. And then there was the couch, already broken, but somehow we got hit with an $800 charge for it. We had to do our own cleaning, and let me tell you, finding hair and dirt under those couch cushions was the last straw. Gross.

I had a pretty rough experience with Airbnb. We discovered bed bugs in the place we rented and had to leave in a hurry. It was a nightmare trying to find another place to stay on such short notice, and it really hit our budget hard. I thought Airbnb would step up and help us out, but they just pointed to their policies instead of actually solving the problem. We ended up covering all the extra costs ourselves. I just expected more support and understanding from a company like Airbnb when things go sideways. It left a sour taste, and I'm not sure I'll trust them again anytime soon.

Man, running a surf school in Bali was my dream gig, right? Had this sweet setup with Airbnb for a decade, racked up over 2500 reviews and a 4.93 star rating. I was riding high, thinking everything was chill. Then, out of nowhere, Airbnb yanked my listing with zero explanation. The way they handled it was just brutal, like they didn't even care about the years of hard work I put in. It was a nightmare, honestly. I wouldn’t wish that kind of stress on anyone. If you’re thinking about using Airbnb, seriously, think twice. It’s a wild ride that can flip upside down without warning.

During a recent stay in Florida, things took a weird turn. I had rented this cute house, hoping for some chill time by the pool. But imagine my surprise when I spotted a camera pointed right at it! No mention of this in the listing, which, as far as I know, goes against Airbnb's rules. I mean, who wants to be watched while they're trying to unwind? Left the place pronto and cancelled the reservation. Thought Airbnb would have my back, but nope, no refund. Makes you wonder if they really care about the policies they put out there. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

The place was dirty, and the furniture looked like it had seen better days. It was nothing like what I saw in the pictures. I didn’t even bother unpacking; just turned around and found somewhere else to stay. Tried getting a refund, but that was a bust. Felt like a scam. Can't believe how misleading those listings can be. We had a real mess

We had a real mess during our last Airbnb trip. We got to the place we booked, but couldn't get in because of some check-in issue. Tried reaching out to Airbnb and the host, but it felt like shouting into the void. In the end, we had to find a new place to stay, and let me tell you, it wasn't cheap. Airbnb did give us some money back for the original booking, but they didn't cover everything we had to spend because of their mix-up. Filed a complaint and might have to push further if we don’t get the rest. Airbnb needs to step up their game and protect their customers better.

Stayed at an Airbnb over Thanksgiving, and wow, what a disaster. It was raining outside, but it felt like it was raining inside too. The ceiling was leaking, and there was a mini flood in the hall and kitchen. To top it off, there was black mold around the fridge—just gross. Tried reaching out to the host, but they were completely MIA. Thought leaving a review on Airbnb would help, but that went nowhere. I'm done with Airbnb after this mess. So, picture this: I wake up one morning, check my bank statement, and boom—there's a random Airbnb charge. Instantly, I call my bank to block it, then reach out to Airbnb, thinking they'll sort it out. But no, they just drag their feet, leaving the reversal to my bank. Turns out, some random person used my card info to book a stay, and Airbnb didn’t catch it. How does that even happen? With so many negative reviews floating around, it feels like Airbnb's heading for trouble. They can't keep running things this way and expect to stay afloat. Feels like a sinking ship to me.

    It's chaos

You won't believe the chaos I went through. Sewage started coming up in the shower, which was just disgusting. So, we had a parade of people coming in and out of our rental trying to fix the toilet. I thought a partial refund was fair, but it turned into a three-week saga of endless phone calls and emails with the rental company and Airbnb. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing, and I was just passed around like a hot potato. I expected some level of professionalism, but this was a joke. Never using them again. I had a really rough experience with a vacation rental service. The place I stayed at was just not taken care of—dust everywhere, broken things, you name it. Then, the host tried to charge me extra for damages I didn’t even cause. It felt like they were just out to squeeze more money out of me. When I reached out for help, the company just sided with the host, no questions asked. It was so frustrating! I’m definitely not going back to that service. You wouldn’t believe what happened with my recent stay. The host was a nightmare, and I needed to complain formally to AirBnB. But when I sent the email, it bounced back undeliverable. How can a company that big not have a proper support email? It's frustrating because this issue was serious, and I wasn’t about to waste time with tech support or chat bots. If AirBnB can’t even make it easy to reach them, why should I keep using their service? They need to step up their game or I might have to find somewhere else to book my stays. Feeling really let down by them.
