I booked a cabin stay at Sunny Acres in Moab UT for mid July 2024 half a year in advance in November 2023. I had this excursion planned to see the Arches and surrounding scenes for a few days soon after a National event in Vegas. Sadly as we got closer to my event date, they changed the dates to directly conflict with my stay at Sunny Acres. My whole trip was turned upside down because of flights, rental car, hotels and park visits. Looking to have to cancel this portion of the trip I was finally able to connect with Autumn at the Whimstay Advocacy Team and within minutes of my email to rebook to an earlier date by a few days or cancel all together, she immediately put me at ease and gave me a couple of options. I could get a refund and book at another property or date minus a small fee. Or I could receive a credit and rebook this stay at Sunny Acres. I chose the credit and rebooked for an earlier stay before my National event. This flexibility allowed me to rebook my car, my hotel and flight to enable me to visit Sunny Acres in July and attend my event right after. I have never been to The Arches and that part of Utah and so I am very excited to come out there and experience all it has to offer. The smoothness and attention Autumn and her team showed me was first class and I am thrilled to be able to continue with this trip. Thank you Autumn and Whimstay. Such understanding and customer service makes me confident in booking with them again in the future. So my advice is if there is ever a booking issue on Whimstay try to reach out to this Advocacy Team as they are there to help solve your needs. Now I just hope my trip and event have no further issues :)

After booking with Whimstay, I made a quick mistake regarding the guest limit, resulting in a stressful situation. Despite my immediate attempt to rectify the error, the company upheld their policy of charging a $60 cancellation fee, which they explained was standard practice except for rare cases. Even though they offered a $25 credit and a full refund, they insisted that the responsibility was mine to notice such details. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I won't be using Whimstay again and would suggest others book directly with property management companies to avoid similar situations.

Avoid this company like the plague. I made the mistake of booking a hotel in Puerto Vallarta through them three weeks ago for a seven-night stay over New Year's Eve. They completely messed up with their supplier and left me stranded with no alternatives. As someone who works in the travel industry, I strongly advise steering clear of this unprofessional outfit.
