    I really enjoyed this trip.

I really enjoyed this trip. It was filled with amazing sights, lots of info, and a great tour guide (Janette is the best 😊). I had a great time overall. The only tricky part was the travel in and out. I wish we could have left the next day with a morning flight instead of doing planned sights on the same day. The meals were a bit messy too, but I'm happy with the whole thing. I know it takes much effort to organize, so I'm thankful to the team for making it happen. There’s no need to spend more money during the trip; it’s really all inclusive. I would recommend this program to anyne!

Our experience with the company was mixed.

Our experience with the company was mixed. We were a small group of 4 among a larger school group. We had minimal say in planning and decisions. The tour guide's pace was tiring, more about rushing to the bus than exploring history. However, we enjoyed the stops. The pre-ordered dinners were disappointing—cold and not a true taste of Italian food.

Our journey to DC was quite the experience!

Our journey to DC was quite the experience! From landing at BWI to hopping on the bus, we were treated to a whirlwind of historical sights that had our students buzzing. Our group of 35 couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed every part of the trip! Stopping by the White House for a quick photo outside the gate was impressive. The grandeur of the place had everyone captivated. And let's not forget about the food! We had a great time trying out different dishes at various spots. It's true what they say - variety is key! The trip was well-organized and executed flawlessly, making it even more memorable than our first visit. A big shoutout to World-Stride for providing us with fantastic tour guides who led us through DC and Colonial Williamsburg expertly. Our students will always remember this adventure as something truly special!

    Our trip went smoothly from

Our trip went smoothly from start to finish. The folks at Explorica communicated really well, and our tour guide was great. I'd definitely suggest using this company for travel. Our group, which included 15 middle schoolers and 3 teachers, had a blast exploring London and Paris. It was a relief not to have to stress about transportation, accommodation, or meals since the company handled it all. We'll definitely book with them again for our next middle school spring break trip.

    The company's guide was great.

The company's guide was great. He listened to what we needed and made changes. He was friendly and good with everyone. He gave us useful info about the places we visited. He worked hard to accommodate food issues. We had a good mix of planned tours and free time. He began and ended each day with a summary. He prepared well for each day, organizing transport for 50 people.

    The tour guide, Simon

The tour guide, Simon, and bus driver, Steven, were both great. They made a tiring trip fun and we saw a lot despite the weather. Steven drove safely despite strong winds. Simon kept us entertained with trivia and let us rest. Overall, it was a great trip and experience.

The team arranged a busy schedule for students to fully explore a new city. They got to see and feel the history they've been learning about - which makes it even more interesting. Doing this with classmates gave them different views too.

I liked how the guide knew a lot about the places we went to and why they're important for our country's history. They didn't hesitate to talk about the mistakes our ancestors made either.

    My trip with this company

My trip with this company was a bit on the pricey side, but the experience was worth every penny. Exploring new places was exhilarating, and the bus driver's exceptional skills and the tour guide's enthusiasm in DC added immense value. The breakfast could use more variety, especially at the first hotel, where the meat changed daily but lacked diversity. Thankfully, the second hotel brought relief with a switch from pancakes to delightful french toast. However, the inconvenience of two out of three elevators being out of service in the second hotel without stairs to the lobby was a drawback. Overall, an enriching adventure with a few hiccups.

The tour guide put in considerable

The tour guide put in considerable effort to ensure a seamless experience, though the food options were limited, and early flights made the overall cost questionable. Most locations were enjoyable, but Sutter's Fort lacked excitement for the kids, offering little to experience.

The food provided was subpar at best

The food provided was subpar at best, leaving much to be desired, and my son found himself consistently hungry, resulting in a significant weight loss of 5 lbs. The tightly packed itinerary left no room for free time, which is essential when exploring Western Europe. The guide's knowledge was lacking, and inquiries were met with insufficient answers. Unfortunately, this trip turned out to be quite disappointing. Comparatively, my son had a more positive experience with World Strides last year, despite some issues. Furthermore, the current approach to booking flights needs reconsideration. The arrangement forced my son to sit between strangers on both long-haul flights. It's imperative, especially within a large group, that kids are seated together in a designated section rather than scattered throughout the plane. While there are more grievances, what I truly seek is a partial refund for the unappetizing food I paid for but my child did not receive.

I was disappointed with the accommodations

I was disappointed with the accommodations and dining during our trip. The hotels fell far short of their claimed 3-star status, resembling more like 1-star establishments. Rooms lacked basic amenities, were cramped, and lacked windows. Breakfasts were subpar, leaving the kids hungry. Dinners were a letdown, with unappetizing options. The inconvenience of a lengthy walk to the first hotel, coupled with safety concerns, added to the dissatisfaction. Moreover, some hotels lacked safes for valuables. Given the hefty cost, this experience was far from acceptable, and I feel compelled to share this feedback widely.

We were assigned a tour guide

We were assigned a tour guide for his inaugural tour without a tandem. The likelihood of us engaging WorldStrides for future student trips is quite low following this encounter. The guide's performance was far from satisfactory, and I've conveyed a more comprehensive evaluation to Explorica. No plans to craft another review.

I embarked on two fantastic journeys

I embarked on two fantastic journeys with WorldStrides, but encountered significant challenges when I had to cancel my latest trip. Despite their initial commitment to refund the agreed amount, my efforts since October 31 have been in vain. Numerous phone calls later, I'm still struggling to recover the promised refund, minus a steep cancellation fee. Proceed with caution and consider this a warning before relying on this company for your travel plans.
