The company is United Airlines. My recent purchase of tickets for a round trip from Los Angeles to Milan went smoothly. After adding the itinerary to my United Account, I double-checked everything—it’s all in order. If you book through a third-party website, handling changes or cancellations can be more tricky. For a hassle-free experience, book directly with the company. But if you want to save cash and don’t expect changes, third-party websites can offer discounts. Remember to compare prices; sometimes, they have better deals.

My daughter and I arranged her flight from London to Australia for her gap year (2023-2024). Sadly, the airline altered part of her return trip to the UK, causing her to miss her connection. I contacted Student Universe and got connected quickly with Nick. Nick was very helpful, polite, patient, and clear in his explanations. He seemed very knowledgeable and quickly and efficiently accommodated my daughter's preferences for her trip home. I will certainly use Student Universe again in the future, as this experience shows they are prepared to help their customers whenever and wherever needed. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!

This website seemed cool, especially with the student prices. However, when there's a problem, it's pretty clear they won't help you out without slapping on some fees. We had an issue at the airport that messed up our flight, and while the airline fixed it over the phone for free (shoutout to KLM), this third-party company had a simple task – just make a call. It's been 9 hours, and poor Divanni, who's 18, got stuck at the airport for 11 hours waiting for an email that never showed up, despite promises. No word from Student Universe either. This is seriously bad customer service; flights are urgent, and airlines usually sort things out fast. But these guys seem cool with leaving students stranded and squeezing more money out of a tough spot. We called five times, no emails or callbacks. Called again later, and suddenly our reservation was deactivated. Weird, right? We're documenting everything and teaming up with KLM to report this to consumer protection. Don't trust this company! They'll ditch you when things go south, even if it's an easy fix.

I phoned in three times attempting to modify my flights, having gathered info from Luke, who offered decent customer service and genuinely tried to assist me. When I called back to the call center after liaising with the airline, I sought Luke but he was unavailable. Instead, I spoke with someone else who wasn't very helpful in finding the cheapest fare for my flight changes. On my third call, I talked to Kyle, who matched Luke's quality of assistance and genuinely put effort into helping me. He did a good job! Thanks for understanding and showing empathy in my situation, and for going the extra mile to aid your customers. This is the kind of treatment all customers should get when reaching out to a customer service center.

Shockingly poor customer service and a disregard for urgent situations paint a concerning picture. Multiple calls yielded no response, and discovering a deactivated reservation added to the frustration. Our trust in this company has been shattered, prompting us to document and report the incident. Beware of their abandonment when things go awry – not a reliable choice.

I regret choosing this site for my booking. Two days ago, I mistakenly booked the wrong date and sought assistance immediately. To my dismay, I was advised to wait three hours until the ticket was issued, even if it meant calling at an inconvenient 1 a.m. Since then, my experience has been nothing short of a phone nightmare. Despite continuous promises, I'm stuck in limbo as they await airline approval. Emails claiming attempted calls at odd hours only add to the frustration. No confirmation, no tickets—just acknowledgments of my calls. Considering canceling the credit card charge and filing a complaint. Caution is advised.
