The whole experience was a nightmare!

Ugh, where do I start? The whole experience was a nightmare! Communication was a disaster, constantly had to chase updates. Delivery was a mess, took almost 2 weeks to get a driver, then another week for it to arrive. It came midday while I was working, and the driver got mad because I couldn't leave work. It wasn’t registered, sat for a month and nearly got towed since I live in a community with strict rules. 2023 was rough, then 2024 hit and I fell behind on payments due to cervical cancer surgery. They offer no help for late payments past a month. Family saved me from losing the car. Just checked my credit report and found out they lied about my car's accident history. Few good people, but the bad outweighs the good. Carvana was way better, should’ve gone with them.

    I got my car through

I got my car through Driveway and, boy, it's been a rollercoaster. At first, they seemed to try fixing issues from my initial review, but honestly, their efforts fell flat. After paying for my car, a $50 apology turned into $100 because they delayed things. Felt like they kinda forgot about me. Then came the DMV chaos. I ended up paying $741.86 to get my car registered because they didn't calculate the taxes right. Apparently, they "estimated" since they couldn't access the Nevada DMV site. Couldn't they just call? They promised to refund the extra $468.86 I paid, but communication has been a mess. Days went by with no response. This refund process is dragging on, and it's frustrating. Wouldn't recommend Driveway if you want a smooth car buying experience.

    We got a 2019 Ram

We got a 2019 Ram from Lithia/Driveway half a year back. It seemed alright at first, but soon we discovered water in the coolant system, which froze and caused some serious damage to the pully and serpentine belt. That was the first red flag, showing they didn’t really check the vehicle properly before sending it our way. Fast forward to this Monday, my husband was driving when the truck just caught fire out of nowhere. He barely escaped, and the tow company said they’d never seen a vehicle burn so badly. The truck was essential for our small business, and now it’s gone. Lithia’s lack of accountability is shocking. They sold us a ticking time bomb and couldn’t care less about the aftermath. Avoid them if you value your safety and livelihood.

    Really frustrating

I bought a car from Driveway after searching for months. The car itself was great, met all my expectations, but the registration process was a nightmare. Driveway was supposed to handle the registration and tag transfer, which I paid extra for, hoping for a hassle-free experience. Instead, it took almost four months to get everything sorted out. I had to visit the DMV multiple times for temporary tags, which was a huge inconvenience and added extra costs. The delays and lack of urgency from Driveway were really frustrating. If you're thinking of buying from them, just be ready for a long wait with the registration paperwork. The stress and extra expenses really took away from what should have been a smooth process.

    Buying a car through Driveway

Buying a car through Driveway was a bit of a rollercoaster, unlike my previous experience with Carvana. Honestly, it felt like I was constantly being passed around between different people, and nobody seemed to have all the answers. It was frustrating to deal with the lack of transparency, and it just felt like there was a lot of miscommunication going on within the same departments. Each time I called, I had to explain my situation all over again to someone new, which was exhausting. The process wasn't smooth at all, and it left me wishing I had just stuck with Carvana, where everything was straightforward and easy. Wouldn't recommend Driveway if you're looking for a hassle-free car buying experience.

    We thought we'd give Driveway

We thought we'd give Driveway a try for our car purchase, but wow, what a headache. Bought a car, only to send it back because of a major mechanical issue. You’d think Driveway would step in and help, right? Nope, it was all on us to contact the dealership directly to get things sorted. Driveway's supposed to be the go-between, but they were more like a ghost. When we tried to get our loan voided, Driveway just passed the buck back to the dealership. Working with Sarah was a nightmare—she barely returned our calls and only answered texts she felt like. For a company owned by Lithia Motors, this was super disappointing. Definitely steering clear next time and letting folks know to avoid them too.

I got this car from Driveway

So, I got this car from Driveway and it’s been a nightmare. They sold us a car without a title, and now our temporary tags are expired. The company said they were clear about tags being temporary, but that’s not the issue – it’s the missing title. Our financing company is ready to cancel the loan, and Driveway’s solution? They’d cover our ticket if we got one for driving with dead tags. Seriously? The car could be impounded because we have no proof of ownership. The DMV even advised us to start legal action because selling a car without a title is illegal. Plus, the car was delivered with a dead battery, and the promised refund for the new battery took three weeks. Avoid Driveway at all costs.

    I had such a frustrating

I had such a frustrating time trying to buy a car recently. Found a car I liked online and started working with Angie Brown to trade in my old car. Everything seemed fine at first, but then it all went wrong. I submitted an application to hold the car, got my old car appraised, and agreed to the trade-in. Angie asked me to submit a credit application and ran my credit twice because of her mistake. Even though I told her I was pre-qualified with Capital One, she insisted on going through Chase. After all this hassle, I paid a $500 deposit to secure the car, only for her to call me and say it was sold the day before. So frustrating, my credit took a hit for nothing, and I lost the car I wanted.

    Beware

You know, I wanted to share my experience with Hyundai of Las Vegas and Driveway, part of Lithia Motors. We thought we’d found the perfect car, agreed on a price, and even left a deposit to seal the deal. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, until suddenly, the dealership pulled out of the agreement. They did return our deposit, but then we found out the same car was up for sale somewhere else with a higher price tag. It felt like a bait-and-switch, which was pretty frustrating and disappointing. We invested a lot into this, only to feel misled. I’m hoping they’ll own up to it and make sure future customers don’t face the same issue. Just sharing this so others can avoid similar headaches.

    Wouldn't recommend this place

So, I thought I was finally going to get a good deal on a car with just $2000 down. After getting hit with nine credit inquiries, they approved me, and then it got wild. They asked me to trade in a car right after approval. Problem is, I don’t have a car to trade—just my wife’s and a relative’s. Living in rural NJ, a car is essential for me. They also asked for three referrals, which was strange. I've been buying cars for 14 years and never faced anything like this. They initially said they work with all banks, but turns out they only use their own. The interest rate and down payment demands were outrageous. I might have to dispute those credit inquiries. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Got a 2018 Yukon Denali, thinking it was perfect timing with a new baby and all. At first, everything was smooth, and I was loving the extra space. But then, out of nowhere, the car just wouldn't start. Had to jump it a few times, then took it to my mechanic, who said the battery was shot. So, I forked out $331 for a new one. Thought that was the end of it, but then the trunk latch just stopped working. Now, the trunk won't even close, making the car undrivable and unsafe. I mean, it supposedly passed a 120-point inspection, but how? I passed on the warranty since I drive a lot, but didn't expect these headaches. Called the dealership, and they just shrugged me off. Feels like a scam.

    Pretty frustrating

You know, I was pretty impressed with the customer service when I visited this dealership. The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely helpful. But here's the thing, I bought a used car from them, and just a few months later, the transmission completely failed. It ended up being an $8,000 repair, which was a real blow to my wallet. They didn't offer any warranty, and I realize now that buying a car sight unseen was a risky move. My mechanic took a look and was convinced they knew about the transmission issue before selling it to me. It's frustrating because they sold it at market value, yet it came with this hidden problem. Just be cautious if you're thinking about buying from them.

    Wow, what a ride

Wow, what a ride. Tried buying a car from Havanna and Trinity, and boy, was it an ordeal. I was ready to drop $36,500 on a vehicle, just asked if they’d toss in an extended warranty. You’d think that’d be a reasonable request, right? But nope, they kept sidestepping the question, like it was the hardest thing in the world to answer. I felt like they didn’t care if I bought the car or not. Communication was all over the place, and their attitude? Super dismissive. No wiggle room on price, no effort to make things work. It’s like they’ve got so many cars they don’t need to bother with customer service. If you’re shopping for a car, skip these guys. You deserve better treatment.

    I walked into the dealership

I walked into the dealership excited to buy my Chevrolet Impala. I did everything they asked – signed the paperwork, settled on the loan, and handed over a $500 down payment. They did the credit check and said all was good. Days passed with no word, so I had to call them up. That's when they casually mentioned the car had already been sold to someone else! No calls, no explanations, nothing from their side. And then, they tried pushing a different car on me like it was no big deal. Felt really unprofessional, and now I’m stuck with a credit ding and no car. This place? Total mess. Be careful if you decide to buy from them, 'cause they might just sell your car to someone else.

    I just wanted to share

I just wanted to share my frustrating experience with buying a car recently. Everything started off smoothly; I paid the deposit and was told the car was coming from Hawaii to the mainland. They said it would take three weeks, which was fine by me. But the next day, they called and said it would actually take three months because my rep was new and messed up the shipping details. I was busy with work, so I said I needed to think about it. When I got home, I checked my account and saw my order was canceled without any notice! No call, no email, nothing. I've tried reaching out to the CEO and the board, but no luck. Now, I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I decided to buy a car

So, I decided to buy a car and the whole buying process was surprisingly smooth. Different people handled different parts of the sale which made things easy. I locked in my car on October 22, 2024, and it got picked up for delivery at the end of October. It reached the delivery spot by November 3rd but didn’t arrive at my house until November 11th. Now, it’s just sitting in my driveway. In Massachusetts, you can’t use temp plates, so I have to wait for the real ones. This is where things went south. No one seems to be helping me. My texts and emails are mostly ignored. Finally, someone told me I might get my registration before Christmas. What a mess!

    Such a frustrating experience

I recently had quite a frustrating experience with this dealership. First off, it seemed like every time I visited, there was a new salesperson who didn’t really know what they were doing. I specifically asked them not to send my credit application to multiple lenders, but they went ahead and did it anyway. When the car was finally delivered, I noticed the tires were in terrible shape, practically falling apart. To top it off, they couldn’t sort out my plates or registration for three weeks, which meant my new car was just sitting there, unusable. If you’re thinking about going here, maybe think twice. This was one hassle I could’ve done without.

    I tried snagging a pricey

I tried snagging a pricey Land Rover Defender from Driveway and it turned into a mess. We jumped through all the hoops—papers, documents, deposit, the whole shebang—and then we waited. But then we spotted the same ride at Largo Honda for $5,000 less. Naturally, we hit up our Driveway rep to ask about this massive price gap. He promised to check with the dealership. By the end of the day, Roberto Felipe from the dealership claimed the car was already sold to someone else. It felt like a total fib, just them dodging the lower price. Their communication was a nightmare and honesty seemed optional. Honestly, steer clear of Driveway and Largo Honda.

Man, what a ride. I went in thinking this dealership might be the one, but boy was I wrong. They threw an offer my way, which wasn't exactly what I hoped for, but I thought, alright, let’s see where this goes. Then they noticed my sweet aftermarket bumper and those cool light-up letters on the grill. Instead of seeing the value, they knocked off $2000 from their offer! Can you believe it? I even suggested returning everything to factory settings, but they just weren't having it. The attitude was just off, and the service? Not great. Felt like they were trying to pull a fast one. Needless to say, I walked out and didn’t accept their lousy offer.

    I’ve had a truly frustrating

I’ve had a truly frustrating experience with this car delivery. When the vehicle showed up, it wasn’t on a flatbed but driven, and it had an extra 69 miles on it, plus a dent on the rear bumper. When I reached out to get it sorted, they wanted to charge me $895 just to take it back, even though it wasn’t in the condition I bought it. The promises they make about delivering cars in perfect condition are just empty words. And trying to talk to anyone in charge feels pointless, like nobody’s actually listening or cares. It's disappointing to see such practices from a dealership associated with Mercedes. This isn’t how customers should be treated.

So, I tried selling my car recently and it was a real rollercoaster. I uploaded all the docs they asked for, did the virtual inspection, and even got a thumbs up for the price. But then, outta nowhere, they hit me with a "nope." They said my car didn’t fit what they're buying now, mentioning stuff like age and mileage. I was baffled, 'cause my ride's in tip-top shape and I just moved to Oregon from Tennessee. They claimed my registration was all wrong—said it was for a 2008 car, not my 2016, and hasn't been active since 2020. I’ve got the right docs in hand; someone clearly dropped the ball here. Frustrating, to say the least.

Total waste of time and effort

I thought trading in my cars for an X6 M would be straightforward. I had two vehicles in mind for the trade, which seemed promising since most places only take one. One of my cars, the Q80, needed a picture inspection. I went through the hassle, but never got a price back. Meanwhile, another car I had a quote for needed an update via a link that had nothing to do with the Q80. Everything just fell apart. Two managers, Trinity and Iboro, assured me it would be sorted out, but nothing ever happened. Really frustrating experience, especially when these platforms promise to make car buying simpler. Total waste of time and effort.

So, I thought I was getting a great deal on a 2018 Cadillac XT5, right? I had everything set: deposit down, all my info handed over. Then, boom, outta nowhere, I'm told the car didn’t pass inspection and needed $7,000 in repairs. They said it had a blown head gasket, but when I tracked the VIN, the car popped up in Arizona, listed for $4,000 more than my price. The Arizona dealer said the car was perfect, sold in a day, no issues at all. Meanwhile, Hyundai tried adding $2,000 for "extra equipment," but then they just removed it when I questioned it. Felt like a total bait and switch. Beware, seriously shady business.

I was really let down by this company. I waited three weeks for my car to be delivered after paying my down payment. They never gave me a clear time frame and I had to constantly chase them up. I even took a whole day off work because they said the car would arrive at 9am, but it didn't show up until after 6pm. I missed my daughter's last football game because of this. The whole process was just me calling them every few days to get any kind of update. They kept saying the next step would take 3-5 days, but nothing ever seemed to move forward. Seriously, just go to a dealership and save yourself the stress.

Bought a 2020 Ford Fusion from Driveway for $16,800, and things went downhill fast. Waited three weeks for delivery, only to find out it had a $2,300 oil leak. My local mechanic spotted the issue in just two minutes with a flashlight. Driveway's inspection reports claimed everything was fine, but that was far from the truth. When I brought up the problem, they basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. Time and money down the drain. If you're thinking about buying online, think twice. Better to stick with your local dealer. Trust me, returning this car was the best decision I made.

I went to driveway.com to check out a truck for $26,000. My credit score is 767, so I thought it would be smooth. First, they said I was approved with $500 down. Then they ran my credit again and told me it’s $1000 down. They did it again, and it jumped to $1800, then $5000 down with $750 monthly payments. It was frustrating and felt like a scam. So, I ditched them and headed to a local dealership in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Ended up getting a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, fully loaded, 4x4 for $35,000. The interest rate was 6.79%, and my monthly payment is $650 with zero down. Much happier with this deal!

Buying a car from Driveway has been such a hassle. I sent all the paperwork and payment on 8/12/2025, thinking everything would be smooth. But here we are on 8/26/2025, and I've got no clue when the car will show up. What's even more annoying? They're saying the registration and plate transfer might take another 2-4 weeks. Seriously, for a $70,000 used BMW, I expected much better. Tried to speak to a supervisor, and they said it'll take 24-48 hours for someone to get back to me. It's just frustrating. I just want some straightforward answers and quick action. This process should not be so hard.

    this car dealership really

Man, this car dealership really got me riled up. I took my 14-year-old car in, thinking they’d give me a fair shot. It’s been garage-kept for nearly 4 years, so hardly any wear and tear. They snapped a million pictures and then some rep comes up saying there's a crack in the fender. What crack?? There isn't one! Then they had the nerve to offer me just 300 bucks. Seriously? Even if my car was falling apart, I’d expect more than that. It's the same old shady tactics, like they think they can pull a fast one on everyone. Honestly, steer clear of these guys. Communication? Practically non-existent. Every time I try to reach out, it feels like shouting into the void. I’m seriously considering legal action because I'm tired of waiting and being ignored. They keep saying my paperwork is done and even offered to cover my first payment, but nothing’s been delivered yet. They even gave me a tracking number, but it hasn't moved.
