Started my IT journey in 2019, worked for 5 years and moved from Help Desk to Tier 2. Left my old job to join Nexgent full time in April 2024. Finished the FSNA and soon will finish the NCSA. Definitely the best choice Ive made for my career. The instructors and program have been great in helping me learn and grow. The community, career advisors, and mentors have given me a strong grasp of what I’ve learned in the last 4 months. Study groups and tech instructors have been very useful, helping me grasp tech details in this field. Working with the program has opened doors in networking and cybersecurity that were new to me, giving me confidence to start in cybersecurity. I’m very thankful for this experience and would give more stars if I could. Strongly recommend this program!

The initial class called FNSA

The initial class called FNSA ( Full Stack Network Administration) is quite lengthy but very crucial. However, it's not too demanding. You jot down notes and study, but not excessively. You just move through the sections comfortably until the end. It's totally worth it. You'll be far from where you began and feel more sure about your choice to enroll in this course. I'm thankful for the guidance and knowledge NGT gave me. I just finished this first module today, and I'm writing my review after acing my FNSA tests.

The many calls from Robin to check

The many calls from Robin to check in were really motivating, especially when I wanted to quit. The training block was made simple enough for anyone to get and follow along. The patience of the entire NexGenT team made the experience rewarding. No one wants to learn in a micromanaged and robotic atmosphere. Thank you, guys, and LEVEL UP!

Jakob Hess is an awesome teachr!

Jakob Hess is an awesome teachr! So easy to understand, but doesn't go too deep too quick, or when he does it's usually right. While I think the other FSNP instructr Rob knows his stuff, his videos are less clear, leaving me wantin' to ask questions, but he's gone now. Just started CCNA prep with Bob and he seems cool. Overall, it's been a good experience and I feel I've learned a lot, though I wish they'd talk more about entry level FSNE jobs. Maybe record interviews with new grads?

This program is way better than regular college! You really learn things you can use right away and it's explained so anyone can understand. I've been searching for a program like this for YEARS!

I really like being able to access

I really like being able to access the material whenever I need. Jacob Hess is really good at explaining stuff in the videos. It's cool that you can rewatch sections if you didn't get it the first time. Plus, you can talk to instructors and other students, which makes you feel connected. They all know their stuff and want you to do well.

It was a great experience learning

It was a great experience learning about how to make a professional profile on LinkedIn. The program was excellent. Learning Network Engineering was a bit of a challenge, but with the help of the instructor Jecob Hess and mentor, it became possible to learn with enthusiasm and hands-on practice. I passed the exam and got a FSNA certificate. I'm very happy about achieving this milestone and leveling up. I highly recommend it to new or future students. You have a bright future ahead. I received wonderful support from the technical support team and student success team. Great teamwork, great academy. From 0 to Engineer helped me achieve my goals and make my dreams come true. Jakob Hess made my experyence a good one. I recently passed the FSNA. To be honest it was this first exam and Lab in a skool or Academy atmosphere I have done in 20+ years. I was nervus but through the instruction of Jakob. I was able to be confident at the same time. All throughout the FSNA I felt like there was nothing to hard for me to learn. I am over 50 years of age and you can teach an old dog new tricks!

This network engineering program seems pretty good overall. I appreciate that it covers a lot of topics. However, there are a couple of areas that could use some work: The videos need updating. The instructors should explain things more simply for beginners.
