    I ordered an ECM for

I ordered an ECM for my Ford from this place, but it was a total disaster. First, the part took way longer to arrive than they said it would. Then, when I called the locksmith, he couldn't get the thing to work after two hours of trying. I sent it back, got another one, same issue—still wouldn't work. They told me to send it back for a refund, but guess what? No refund. I kept contacting them, and they kept giving me excuses, even asked for my PayPal info, which I sent. After that, radio silence. It's been three months now, and I'm out $551, including the locksmith and extra shipping. Total scam, just took my money and ran.

    Got my ECU back, followed

Got my ECU back, followed all the installation steps exactly as described, but it’s still not working, same issue as before. I reached out to customer service on 12/30/24 and spoke with a lady who promised to send an email with an RMA to sort it out. Well, it’s been days and still no email. Feeling pretty frustrated with the lack of follow-through. Just want this fixed already.

    I decided to buy a

I decided to buy a PCM for my jeep, thinking it would solve my problems. I gave them all the info they needed, and they sent me one. Well, my jeep wouldn't start at all. I sent them pics and all the diagnostics, returned the PCM, and they sent another one. This time, the jeep started but then died after a minute. Frustrated, I sent back everything again and asked for a refund. They only gave me half back, citing their return policy. It took them three weeks to do so, not the 10 days they promise. Honestly, their equipment is faulty and their business practices are shady. Be careful if you decide to deal with them.

    Ordered this gadget and it

Ordered this gadget and it arrived super quick. Couldn't wait to try it out, but had to charge the battery first. My luck, the weather's been awful, and I haven't been able to get out and charge the car battery. So, it's just sitting there, waiting. Everything looks good so far, but I can't say for sure until I get it up and running. Fingers crossed the computer does its job once I finally get everything charged. Weather needs to clear up soon, really want to see how this thing performs.

    I purchased a refurbished unit

I purchased a refurbished unit from this company and, at first, it seemed like a good deal. The device fixed the issues I was having and it was fairly priced. However, the "Lifetime Warranty" they offer is really tricky. They ask for proof that you followed their checklist, but they don't specify what counts as proof. I did everything they asked, but there's no clear way to show it. It feels like they’re making it impossible to actually use the warranty if something goes wrong. I think this could be a problem down the line, especially since it's a refurbished unit and probably will fail at some point. I'm keeping a record of my interactions in case I need to take legal action in the future. I appreciate the part and the price, but I’d be cautious about their warranty promises. I’ll let others know about my experience, both good and bad.

    Got my new computer as

Got my new computer as promised. Installing it was pretty straightforward, and it powered up right away. But then, when I turned it off, it refused to start again. Had to take it to the dealership. They confirmed I installed it right, but it wasn't connecting with other parts of the car. They mentioned they needed to run some software checks to try and get it to work, but said it could take around two weeks since they were super busy. If that didn't fix it, I would need to exchange it and get the dealership to enter the VIN. Hopefully, I'll have more info soon.

    I went to this store

I went to this store because they said they had the part I needed. Paid for it, but then they sent me the wrong one. When I called them, turns out they didn't even have the right part. And the refund? Only got $169 back from the $319 I paid. Felt so cheated. Their customer service was terrible, didn't help at all. Wouldn’t recommend trusting them with your money.

    I had a great experience

I had a great experience with Car Computer Exchange. Needed a new computer for my truck, so I gave them a call. Chatted with them a few times, super friendly and helpful each time. Accidentally sent in the wrong one for an automatic when my truck's a standard. Called them up again, explained the mix-up, and they sorted it out real quick. Sent me the right computer and my truck started right up, running perfectly since. Honestly, if you need a computer for your vehicle, these guys are awesome. Thanks a bunch!

    I had to replace

I had to replace a part in my car, and the process was mostly smooth. The part from another place didn’t work, so I got one from here and it fit perfectly. The only hiccup was the return policy. I didn’t realize I only had seven days to return the core, which made things a bit stressful. Had to scramble to get it done in time. A longer return window, like two weeks, would be way more convenient. But overall, the part works great, and my car is running fine now. Just wish there was more heads-up about the return deadline.

    I ordered a computer module

I ordered a computer module on a Sunday afternoon, and by Monday morning (Veteran's Day), I decided to cancel it. Car Computer Exchange (CCE) confirmed the cancellation quickly and promised a refund within 7-10 business days. They did give a heads-up that if I didn't see the refund by the 11th day, I should contact their accounting team. That kind of made me suspicious. Unfortunately, my hunch was right. The refund didn't come through on time, and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Luckily, I won the dispute, but the whole experience left a bad taste. CCE seemed to lack integrity and honesty.

    I got the unit after

I got the unit after talking to the sales team, and they were really helpful. I’ve set up an appointment with a mobile mechanic to check my van's electronics on Wednesday, November 4th, before swapping the replacement unit. Once we do the exchange, I'll send the faulty unit back to you. Thanks for helping me fix this issue.

Just got my PCM and it arrived pretty quickly, which was nice. But then I followed the checklist and found out the camshaft sensor was faulty. That was a bummer, so I had to send the PCM back. Despite this hiccup, I still appreciate the overall service and will probably give them another shot in the future.

    I ordered a part, but

I ordered a part, but the first one was faulty. It took quite a few calls and emails to sort it out, which was kinda frustrating. They sent a replacement, which worked fine, but the process wasn't smooth at all. There was no return mailer included for the faulty part, so I had to figure that out myself. And then, after sending it back, I still haven't heard back if they got it and when I'll get my credit. The product's good now, but they really need to make their communication and return process easier.

    I had my doubts about

I had my doubts about ordering a computer for my car online. I mean, would it really be that simple? But wow, when the PCM arrived, I just plugged it in and my car fired up without a hitch. No issues with the computer or the skim module at all. Totally impressed! Car Computer Exchange really delivered on their promise. No more worries about my car's computer acting up. This experience has completely changed my mind. If anyone's on the fence, I'd say go for it. It worked perfectly for me, and now my car runs smooth as ever!

    I had quite a frustrating

I had quite a frustrating experience with this company. After spending $695 and expecting my computer in 2-3 days, it took 11 days to arrive, and it wasn’t even the right one. Tried calling customer service, got hung up on thrice. When I finally got through, they told me to return the part but made a big show of checking their stock. Two weeks passed without the correct part arriving. Called again, and they said it’d take another 7-10 days since they were waiting for it from a vendor. Asked for a refund, and they said it would take 7-10 days. Three weeks later, after many emails (no phone calls allowed), I got a refund that was $200 short. They pointed to their refund policies, but nothing explained the deduction. Ended up buying from an eBay seller and got a working part in two days.
