The cost of the new TIPM from

The cost of the new TIPM from this company was outstanding, less than half of what the dealer was quoting, not to mention the labor costs. It arrived within the promised 10 days. However, my troubles began upon installation. Initially, there was a check engine light indicating an issue with my cooling fan. After installation, I encountered additional problems – a persistent check engine light, a "No Fuse" code on the dashboard, an illuminated airbag light, and a non-functional radio. Seeking assistance, the company advised me to visit an auto parts store to obtain a code for the "No Fuse" issue. After visiting three auto parts stores without success, I returned home, contemplating the inconvenience of sending the part back and enduring another 10 days without a car. As a last resort, I turned to YouTube and, thankfully, discovered information about the IOD fuse (Internal Off Draw). Surprisingly, none of the paperwork accompanying the computer mentioned this crucial detail. I located the IOD fuse in my computer, found it unplugged, and, upon plugging it in, witnessed the resolution of my issues – the airbag light went off, the "No Fuse" problem vanished, and the radio began working. In sharing my experience with the company, I emphasized the significant inconvenience caused and suggested they include information about the IOD fuse in their instructions to prevent similar issues for other customers. The company dismissed this as a technical issue and, when I requested to speak with someone from the technical department, I was informed that no such conversation was possible. The representative abruptly suggested I write a review and hung up. Having worked in customer service for over 30 years, I can affirm that this is not the treatment a paying customer deserves. For those considering purchasing from this company, if you encounter more problems post-installation, check the location of your IOD fuse to ensure it is plugged in. This simple step could save you days of frustration and get you back on the road much sooner.

    I decided to try out

I decided to try out this new computer store everyone was talking about. Ordering was a breeze, really straightforward. But then, waiting became the name of the game. I wasn't prepared for how long it would take to actually get my hands on the computer. I mean, they didn’t mention anything about building it from scratch, testing, and all that jazz when I placed the order. It was a bit of a surprise. But hey, as long as it works perfectly when it arrives, I'm willing to let it slide. Just wish they gave a heads-up about the wait time, you know? Overall, fingers crossed it all pays off when it gets here!

    I scheduled an appointment to

I scheduled an appointment to get my PCM installed on October 14th, so I can’t talk about how that’ll turn out just yet. But let me tell you, the delivery part went pretty smooth. They got my part out fast, no hiccups there. Just a little snag: they couldn't deliver straight to my place in Vancouver, Canada. Instead, it had to be sent to my buddy over in the Pacific Northwest. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a detour. Overall, the process was straightforward, and I'm hoping the installation goes just as well. Fingers crossed everything fits together perfectly!

    I walked into the shop

I walked into the shop thinking it might be a quick fix, but it ended up taking a bit longer than expected. Honestly, I didn’t mind. The team was great and kept me updated, which made the wait feel worth it. When they finally got the part in, it fit perfectly, and my van roared back to life. I drove out of there feeling confident, hoping it'll keep me on the road for another 180,000 miles. The experience was surprisingly pleasant for a car repair. It's not often you leave a repair shop feeling this satisfied. Definitely a place I’d trust with my van again.

    I got this replacement computer

I got this replacement computer for my 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 L, and let me tell ya, it was smooth sailing. I was a bit worried at first 'cause I'm not exactly a car expert, but their website had this FAQ section that pretty much answered all my questions. It was like having a buddy guide me through. Installation was a breeze, no hiccups whatsoever. Once everything was set up, I turned the key, and boom, the truck roared to life like it was brand new. It felt pretty awesome knowing I got it right on my own. Big thanks to these guys for making it so easy!

    Ordered my gadget last Thursday

Ordered my gadget last Thursday afternoon, and by the next Wednesday, it was ready for pickup at the shop. It was a bit of a wait, but not too bad. When I finally got my hands on it, all those pesky issues I was dealing with seemed to vanish. Honestly, I couldn't find a better price anywhere else, which made me quite happy with my choice. Everything's running smoothly now, but I guess I'll see how it holds up over time. So far, so good, and my wallet's happier too. Fingers crossed it stays this way!

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and effectiveness of this product. Installation was a quick, hassle-free process, taking only a couple of minutes. Setting it up was straightforward, and we were able to start our truck without any issues. I'm genuinely thankful for a solution that was delivered as promised. If someone I know needs a new car computer, I'll recommend this product. It made a significant difference, and I appreciate it.

The website's speed and user-friendliness in locating my required part left a positive first impression. I've already placed an order and eagerly await its arrival. The reason I opted for this business over others is simple - they're the sole provider offering the specific part I need at a price that doesn't break the bank. I'll provide further feedback once the part arrives and I can evaluate its quality.

    I got my PCM delivered

I got my PCM delivered before I even finished filling out the vehicle form, which was a bit odd. Once I had it, I tried to get it working, but it just didn’t. Now I’m stuck wondering if it’s because the programming wasn’t done right or if there’s another problem lurking in the vehicle. To add to the confusion, the keys won't program properly either. It's like a puzzle where none of the pieces fit. I'm not sure where to turn next or if there’s anyone who can help figure this mess out. It’s been a frustrating experience, and I just want to get back on the road without all this hassle.

I wish there was more clarity regarding the shipping service being used

I wish there was more clarity regarding the shipping service being used, whether it's USPS or FedEx. This information is crucial, especially since FedEx doesn't deliver to general delivery addresses, and I'd need to arrange a pickup. Additionally, knowing the estimated delivery time and receiving a tracking number would be helpful for better planning and peace of mind.

Ordering the PCM was easy. I was a bit confused because it didn't ask for the VIN until after the order was placed. I would have been more comfortable putting that info in before submitting payment information. It took about 2 weeks to get the PCM and I just got it so haven't installed it yet.

    Ugh, dealing with this company

Ugh, dealing with this company has been a rollercoaster. First, I sent my PCM in for repair and didn’t even know if I got the right one back. Kept getting this annoying internal PCM error code on my car, which was super frustrating. Tried reaching out through email, but got nothing. Phone calls? Forget it. Just crickets. I was ready to give up, honestly. But then, finally got a hold of someone. They actually listened and asked me to send the PCM back for another check. It’s a bit of a hassle, but at least they're trying to make it right now. Changed my 2-star review to a 3-star, hoping for a better outcome this time. Fingers crossed!

    So frustrating

I had a frustrating experience with a part repair service. I sent my TIPM in for repair and was initially told it would be ready soon. But after 75 days, with no part in sight, I started to worry. I made five phone calls and sent a couple of emails to customer service asking for an update. Each time, I was assured it was done and would ship soon, but nothing happened. Finally, after all that waiting and hassle, I just asked for my part back. Meanwhile, I heard about MAK's, ordered from them, and the TIPM arrived just two days later. The difference in service was night and day. It's clear where I'll be going next time I need something.

    In my opinion, Car Computer

In my opinion, Car Computer Exchange has proven to be one of the most incompetent and unreliable companies I have ever dealt with. I made a purchase of an ECU on September 29, 2023, and received the item on October 18, 2023. The reason for the delay, as explained by them, was that the initial unit they had in stock was defective, and they had to order another one for me. While I understood this to some extent, a delay of over three weeks is already quite significant. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when I received the replacement item on October 18, only to discover that it was also defective. I promptly initiated the return process on October 19, hoping for a quick resolution. Unfortunately, further delays ensued in receiving a replacement. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern from Car Computer Exchange, especially considering that my vehicle could be my only means of transportation. They did not seem to prioritize the situation or take any proactive measures to ensure a timely resolution. Given that the issue was caused by their mistake, I expected them to offer expedited shipping or other accommodations to rectify the situation promptly. Moreover, their communication throughout this process was severely lacking, and their disregard for customer satisfaction only added to the frustration. Waiting until November 2 to inform me that the replacement item is finally on its way back is unacceptable, given the significant delays I have already experienced.

    I had this wild ride

I had this wild ride with my truck's ECM while I was out of state in Atlanta, GA. My poor truck wouldn't start, so I had it towed to a shop in Chamblee, GA. They figured out it was the ECM, so I tried Car Computer Exchange for the first time. At first, everything seemed cool until the truck wouldn’t start again. Living in South Carolina, I sent the ECM back with clear instructions to return it to my address. Somehow, they sent it back to Atlanta! I talked to customer service and explained the address was right there on the package. They said they followed the computer address instead. The package ended up at the shop in Chamblee, but they claimed they never got it, even though it was tracked via FedEx. The manager insisted they returned it to CCE, but CCE said they didn’t have it. Neither would take responsibility. It was a frustrating mess!

    Dealing with Car Computer Exchange

Dealing with Car Computer Exchange was a nightmare. We ordered a computer module, and they sent us not one, but two faulty units. This fiasco stretched over an entire month, leaving our customer car-less and frustrated. Our trust in them shattered, we decided to return the second defective module and opted to buy from a dealership instead. To make matters worse, they only refunded half of what we paid, hiding behind their "return policy." It's baffling how they missed every chance to make things right. It's clear they have zero regard for customer satisfaction. If you're considering doing business with them, think twice—customer service seems to be a foreign concept to them.

    When I ordered my ECM

When I ordered my ECM from the website, I was expecting a smooth process based on the great reviews. I paid right away, but then, nothing. No confirmation, no email updates, nada. I thought maybe they were just busy, but after 10-12 days, the ECM finally arrived. Excitedly, I installed it, only to find my car wouldn't start. The OBD codes indicated the key wasn’t programmed. When I called customer service, they casually mentioned that this issue happens. Seriously? Now I need to hire a locksmith or dealer to come program my key. Their website claims it's plug and play, yet doesn't mention this common problem. Customer service was non-existent. Such a frustrating experience.

    I purchased a PCM

I purchased a PCM for my 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9 L from Imperial Car Computer Exchange. However, upon installation, I started experiencing issues such as an intermittent O/D Off indicator light, which was not present with my original PCM. Subsequently, a "no bus" error code appeared on my odometer display, preventing the engine from turning over. These problems did not occur with my original PCM. Despite returning the faulty PCM to Car Computer Exchange almost two weeks ago, I am still awaiting a repaired or replacement PCM. My experience with their parts and customer service has been poor, and I would not recommend Imperial Car Computer Exchange.

    So, I placed this order

So, I placed this order on January 16 and didn't hear a peep—no confirmation, no receipt, nothing. After a few days of radio silence, I reached out on January 21 to ask for a refund because, honestly, what else could I do? They said it would take 7–10 business days, but come February 10, still no refund. When I called, they claimed they'd just started processing it and couldn't give me a timeline because they're a “small business.” I asked to speak to a manager and was told to call back. When I did, I got passed around and then disconnected—twice. The whole thing was a mess, really. I wouldn't suggest dealing with them based on this experience.

I reached out to them for a refund, expecting they'd handle it quickly. Instead, they said I had to wait 7-10 business days. And if nothing happened after that, I should call them again. It's frustrating because I paid upfront, and now it feels like they're holding onto my money without any urgency. You won't believe what I've been through with this company. It's been a total mess from the start. They kept sending me faulty products, and every time I tried to get it sorted, they'd dodge my calls or just hang up. My car's been stuck at the mechanic for five months now, and I'm getting charged for storage because of them. I've tried reaching out countless times—calls, messages, emails—but it's like I'm talking to a wall. No response, no refund, nothing. It's beyond frustrating. First two didn't work, and now they're saying they can't even find me another one. They took my core and my $300, and suddenly, they're ghosts. It's like talking to a wall, no updates, nothing. So, I decided to buy

So, I decided to buy a rebuilt computer for my car, right? They said it’d be programmed and ready to go, but it took forever to arrive. Weather issues, they said. Meanwhile, I had to tow my car to a different state because I couldn’t wait. When I finally asked about a refund, they assured me it was coming. Two weeks passed, nothing. I reached out again, and they finally sent it, but they docked me $190 for restocking and shipping. Plus, they took an extra 25% because I couldn’t do the repairs in time. All that waiting and extra charges for nothing. Not a great experience at all.

I ordered a PCM module for my car, and it was a complete mess. The delivery was delayed, and they kept giving me different reasons for it. When it finally arrived, it wasn't even calibrated for my vehicle, despite my clear instructions. I ended up spending $320 on a product that was useless to me.
