    I had reserved a car

    I had reserved a car two days before my flight to Louisville, thinking everything was set. But when I landed, they told me there were no cars available. I was stunned! It was late, almost 9 PM, and I had no other options. With no other flights or transportation available, I had to spend the night at the airport. It was so frustrating and uncomfortable. You'd think a reservation would guarantee a car, but apparently not. Really disappointing experience.

    I had such a rough

    I had such a rough time with this company, honestly, it ruined my holiday completely. I thought I could trust them, but boy was I wrong. Everything was just a mess and trying to get help was a nightmare. The customer service was so unprofessional, it just made everything worse. I was so stressed out the whole time, it was honestly one of the hardest experiences I've ever had. If you're thinking about using this company, I'd seriously think twice.

    I booked a car at JFK in advance, thinking it would be a smooth process, but ended up waiting two hours to actually get it. The staff was shockingly rude and not helpful at all. They even managed to sneak in an extra toll pass that we didn’t need, costing us nearly $300. I couldn’t believe how they tried to scam us. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. If you have other options, go with them. This experience was just awful.

    I booked a car through

    I booked a car through Jetblue Paisley for a trip at Santo Domingo Airport months in advance. When I got there, surprise, no cars left! They tried to push me to another company that wanted to charge over twice what I'd reserved for. Can you believe it? Jetblue Paisley and Budget/Avis are a joke. I called Budget's customer service, hoping for some help, but they were no use either. Seriously, avoid these guys if you can. What a mess.

    Rented a car from Budget

    Rented a car from Budget at Orlando airport. Returned it with a full tank, and even got it confirmed by the attendant. Still, they charged me a refueling fee. Emailed them a couple of times to sort it out but got no response. Seems like they do this on purpose to make extra money. Wouldn't recommend renting from Budget in Orlando. Feels like they’re ripping people off. Look for another car rental company if you’re in the area.

    I booked a car in advance

    I booked a car in advance, expecting everything to be smooth. But when I got there, no car in the class I reserved! What's even the point of booking ahead? They offered me a lower class car for the same price as the higher one I wanted. I was really looking forward to driving a standard sport, had plans that needed that type of car. Ended up with no car and plans ruined. So frustrating! Won't be using Expedia or Budget again.

    Had a flat tire in

    Had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere in Scotland, and to make things worse, no spare tire in the rental. We got towed 45 minutes to the nearest garage, paid for the tire ourselves. Then, Budget hits us with charges for the tow and the tire we already paid for! Seriously? Absolutely ridiculous. Felt like we were being taken for a ride, both literally and figuratively. Never going back to Budget, that's for sure.

    Won't be recommending them

    I booked a car rental with Budget and prepaid $87.26. When I returned the car, I mistakenly dropped it off at a location 40 minutes away from the one on my reservation. They ended up charging me $440! Tried calling customer service multiple times, but couldn't get through to a manager. Honestly, this experience was so frustrating and expensive. I regret ever using Budget and won't be recommending them to anyone.

    Booking in advance seemed pointless.

    Booking in advance seemed pointless. We waited forever, almost as long as our flight from CHS to EWR. There were 20 groups waiting, with only 3 agents to help. They knew we were coming, so why weren't they prepared? The whole process definitely needs an upgrade, maybe some automation or something. The customer service was lacking, felt like they didn't really care about our time. Frustrating experience overall.

    Total letdown

    I booked a rental car with my credit card, thinking everything would be smooth. But when I got to the airport, there was no car waiting for me. I ended up being 4th on some waiting list, not knowing if I'd even get a car that day. The customer service was terrible; the rep even threatened me. It was such a frustrating experience. I had to scramble to find another way to get to my destination. Total letdown.

    Wow, what a mess!

    Wow, what a mess! I walked in expecting some decent service, but the workers were completely lost. Seriously, they had no idea what they were doing. When I asked for help with a refund, they couldn't do anything and didn't have contact info for any of their partners. It's mind-blowing to see a business run like this. It feels like it's falling apart from the ground up. This place needs a serious overhaul.

    Rating one, wished I could

    Rating one, wished I could give zero. Had a terrible time with a car rental at Chicago O’Hare. The customer service was a mess, totally unhelpful. Left them a bad review, and suddenly I get a $450 bill for "car cleaning." What a joke! It's like they punish you for being honest. Feels like a total scam. Definitely avoid this company, they're just out to rip you off. Save your money and go somewhere else.

    I booked a car well ahead of time and when we got there, they told me my reservation was canceled. What? I definitely didn't cancel it. A month later, got a letter saying they'd charge $125 for cleaning, claiming there was 'excessive dirt-sand'. But there was no sand, just a few leaves that a quick vacuum could handle. Felt like a total rip-off. Never renting from them again.

    Used my Airmiles points to rent a car, thinking I'd save some cash. When I returned the car, the bill was almost the same as if I'd paid with my VISA directly. They don't make the extra insurance costs clear, so you end up paying more without even realizing it. If you're thinking about renting a car, go with Enterprise instead. They're way better and more upfront about costs.

    I rented a car in Montenegro, took good care of it, and returned it just like I got it. The company promised to refund my deposit but ended up keeping £286.81 for no good reason. This whole situation feels like a scam and really unprofessional. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this company to anyone. Their actions are misleading and just unfair. Avoid them if you can!

    I was driving in France,

    I was driving in France, going a bit faster than I should have, just 5 mph over the limit. Budget charged me 35 EURO just for sending my information to the French authorities. I mean, it probably took them a minute to do that. Feels like a total rip-off. Definitely not going to use Budget again.
