Customers can be rude in Bridgeton.

Customers can be rude in Bridgeton. They don’t get "technical difficulties". InstaCart sometimes lists orders for a local store, but customers live up to 35 mins away and pay only $12, as if gas isn’t $4 a gallon. It’s tough, but sometimes you do what you gotta do to make ends meet.

The company has potential, but there were issues. The driver got lost and didn't call. I missed his text. It caused a problem. My order got canceled. Instacart reps don't speak English well. They didn't help. Calling them doesn't work.

    I had a frustrating

I had a frustrating experience with Instacart Canada. I decided to place a big grocery order, over a thousand bucks, and switched my payment method to a credit card with a higher limit. Double-checked everything, yet somehow the system charged my old card with a tiny limit. My credit card company alerted me, so I scrambled to fix it but found several confusing charges. Reaching customer service took ages, and it turns out they put a hold on your card for the total order amount and charge again for the exact amount after shopping. They don't make it easy to understand, and this double charge process can leave you with extra fees. No compensation, just a “sorry, not our problem” attitude. It’s disappointing and I’d advise steering clear!

    Let me tell you about

Let me tell you about my ongoing saga with InstaCart. It's been a comedy of errors, if comedy was frustrating and involved groceries. My orders keep landing on the wrong doorstep, like my groceries are on a little adventure without me. Despite giving clear instructions, the drivers often seem lost. No issues with DoorDash, but InstaCart? Different story. The last straw was on March 16th. My order was sent to the wrong place again, so I had to call customer service, get a refund, and reorder. Even then, the new driver couldn't find me, and I had to guide her like a GPS. The cherry on top? An email saying I might get penalized for delivery issues. I've had enough; I won’t be using InstaCart again.

I've been stuck in a Costco ordering nightmare this whole week. Started Monday, now it's Thursday, and I still got nothing. First driver? Crashed his car, no groceries for me. Day two, the shopper couldn’t find any of my items, marked everything unavailable, and canceled the order without even asking. I had to reorder and wait for the next delivery slot. Day three, another shopper calls me repeatedly, demanding a membership number that’s not even needed when using Instacart. Canceled again! Now I’m waiting another 24 hours just to try again. And after all this hassle, they offer me a measly $5 credit? It's been a frustrating experience, and I'm still without my groceries.

    I used to love shopping

I used to love shopping with Instacart, but things have really gone downhill. As a shopper with a history of 5-star ratings, I'm frustrated that my score dropped just because some stores were out of stock. How is that my fault? The rating system seems so unfair. Even when I communicate well with customers, it doesn't help my score if the store's disorganized. It's disheartening because it feels like no matter how hard I work, I'm not appreciated. The low pay doesn't help either, and they expect tips to make up for it. Instacart needs to fix this broken system, or they'll lose more shoppers. It's not just about finding items; it's about treating shoppers fairly too.

    Total letdown!

My son, who's stuck in Bozeman with the flu while all his friends are off for spring break, needed some essentials. I thought I'd help by ordering a bunch of over-the-counter meds and some get-better food through Instacart. They promised delivery between 5 and 7 pm. Well, 7 came and went, and when we checked, they casually told us it’d be tomorrow. Really? So, instead of resting, my sick kid had to drag himself to the store, spreading germs all over town. If they’d been upfront, we could’ve figured something else out. This was our first go with Instacart, and honestly, I can't believe they get away with such shoddy service. Never had these issues with DoorDash.

    Avoid

Man, let me tell you about my latest delivery drama. I ordered some food, tipped the driver 20 bucks in advance, and waited. And waited. Turns out, the driver left my food two doors down at a mailbox with completely different numbers. My neighbor, who I'm not even supposed to talk to, had to yell to let me know my food was there. Awkward, right? I contacted customer service, and they said I'd get a full refund. But after ten days, nothing. I reached out again, and finally, they tell me, "Oops, you got your food, no refund." It's not just about the food; it's the whole neighbor situation and the unreliable service. Just don't promise what you can't deliver.

    I decided to give Instacart

I decided to give Instacart a try again, but it turned out to be a huge hassle. Placed two orders, and while the first one was fine, the second was a disaster. My app mysteriously lost all past order info, and the shopper bought only 11 out of the 20 items I paid for. Plus, they ignored my no substitutions request and delivered melty frozen goods. I spent hours chatting with multiple agents, trying to adjust the tip and get a refund, but got nowhere. All my previous orders disappeared from the app, like they never happened. Instacart used to be reliable, but now they just seem to overcharge and complicate things. I’m warning everyone to steer clear.

    I decided to give this

I decided to give this delivery service a shot, thinking it would make life easier. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did they mess up my bill, charging way more than expected, but trying to get it sorted with their customer service was a nightmare. It felt like no one knew what they were doing, and I was left on hold forever. The management didn't seem much better either. Honestly, it's probably quicker and definitely less stressful to just head to the store myself. If you're considering using this service, I'd seriously reconsider. Save yourself the headache and just stick to your usual shopping routine. It’s not worth the hassle.

I ordered groceries through the app, but things went downhill fast. The app showed my order as delivered with a photo, but the chat said the shopper needed my name and room number, which I had already given. The hotel staff told me the shopper took the order back, claiming there was an app issue. Instacart refunded me, but when I tried to reorder the same items, it cost me $21 more. Plus, the delivery was supposed to arrive 8 hours earlier! It’s frustrating to deal with this kind of mix-up, and I ended up paying extra for something that should have been straightforward. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

    Let me tell you about

Let me tell you about my experience with this company. It's like talking to a robot that just wants to sell me more stuff instead of helping out. You ask a simple question, and instead of getting a straight answer, you get a sales pitch. It’s like they’re reading from a script and not really listening. And when you finally get an answer, it takes forever—like three tries just to get something basic. Oh, and don’t even get me started on their membership. It’s a total rip-off. Feels like a big waste of time and money. If you're thinking about signing up, maybe think twice. It's really not worth the hassle.

I thought I'd give Instacart a try, thinking it'd make life easier. But, boy, was I wrong. I signed up for what I thought was a monthly subscription, only to find out they'd charged me for a whole year. When my order arrived, the delivery guy just dumped it on the doorstep without even bothering to knock or ring the bell. I tried reaching out to their customer service, first by phone. After waiting over half an hour with no luck, I switched to the chat option. Spent another 20 minutes there, only to be told they couldn’t do anything. It's frustrating when you expect convenience and get the opposite.

I ordered groceries online, expecting the usual smooth delivery. But when the shopper claimed to have delivered them, I got a photo of someone handing bags to a mystery figure you can't even see. Frustrated, I reached out to customer service, hoping for a quick fix. Their response? They'd send a new order the next day and promised to unpair me from the shopper. But that didn't help me make dinner that night or pack lunches for the morning. It's tough when you're counting on something and it just doesn't work out. I really hope they can improve this service because it's usually such a lifesaver.

    Pretty frustrating

I had a pretty frustrating experience with this company. I signed up for what I thought was a $9.99 monthly subscription, but ended up being billed $99 instead. When I reached out to sort it out, they said no refunds because I ordered the subscription with my groceries. It felt like a complete rip-off, and now I'm stuck without the extra cash I need for groceries this month. Their customer service was a total letdown—no help at all. It's just not right to treat customers like this, and I can't believe they're getting away with it. Hoping they face some consequences for these shady practices.

    You wouldn't believe what happened

You wouldn't believe what happened with Instacart. I somehow got signed up for this Instacart+ membership, which I never wanted in the first place. When I noticed, I called them up thinking it would be a simple fix. But no, they wouldn’t give me a refund because I was just outside their 5-day window. As a single mom, I really gotta keep an eye on every dollar, and this just threw me for a loop. I mean, why can’t they just do a pro-rated refund? It's frustrating when companies don't show a little flexibility, especially when budgets are tight. Not impressed with their customer service at all.

I tried ordering online and the delivery address just wouldn't stick. I updated it a few times, thought it was sorted, but then got a notice saying my delivery was canceled because of the wrong address. Frustrating, right? On top of that, they hit me with a $15 fee for canceling my order. It didn't seem fair since the glitch was on their end. I mean, I was all set to enjoy my purchase, but now I’m out of pocket with nothing to show for it. It's a bummer when tech issues get in the way of a simple order. I hope they fix this glitch soon so no one else has to deal with this hassle.

    I once tried this delivery

I once tried this delivery service and the whole thing was a mess. The shopper just stopped shopping halfway and left me hanging, no groceries, no nothing. When I reached out to customer service, it felt like talking to a wall. They were no help at all. And the communication barrier was real; it was like they couldn't understand a word I said. It felt more like a scam than a service. I ended up feeling totally ripped off. If you're thinking about trying them, I'd seriously reconsider. There are better options out there that won't leave you frustrated and empty-handed.

I would rate them 0 star if I could. The shoppers don’t seem to look for the items I ask for, and when they do, they often replace them with ones that cost almost twice as much. Even when they find the right items, they often forget to check the expiration dates. The app hardly works, and customer service never replies or helps.

Instacart let me down. Ordered groceries in Jesup, GA, cost about $50 plus fees. After driver left, they charged my card $85 more. Ordered from Costco near Atlanta, no substitutions, got completely wrong items. Daughter in Colorado ordered yellow squash, got bananas instead.

I've only used Instacart twice. My recent delivery was spot on. But, I messed up the terms and got charged $108 for an annual fee. I wasn't happy and called customer service to figure it out. They got where I was coming from and didn't make a fuss, just refunded me right away. The delivery service and customer support were top-notch. I did call them as soon as I noticed the charge, which probably helped. Their quick response made my day. I'll definitely double-check the costs next time I use these delivery services.

    Smooth experience as always

I've been using Instacart for a while now and usually have a smooth experience, always ordering my groceries from Krogers. It's been pretty reliable, but yesterday was kinda disappointing. The delivery driver just dropped off my groceries on the porch, right in the sun, and didn't bother to knock or ring the bell. By the time I found them, some stuff was already warm and not looking great. I hope this was just a one-time slip-up because I usually trust them to get things right. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

    Being a busy mom, Instacart

Being a busy mom, Instacart has been a lifesaver for me. Most of the dinners have been fantastic, really helps me keep things together. I don't get why there are so many negative reviews, maybe it's just better in Oregon? The customer service has generally been super helpful whenever I've had questions. It's not perfect all the time, but for the most part, my experiences have been really positive. The convenience alone makes it worth it for me. Would recommend to other parents juggling a million things at once.

    I had a frustrating experience

I had a frustrating experience with Instacart while trying to get medication delivered to a family member. The driver was nice and seemed to have the correct address, but Instacart refused to complete the delivery without a valid driver's license. My family member can't drive anymore due to medical reasons, so their license is expired. I tried explaining this to customer service, but they were completely unhelpful and indifferent. We even offered to show other forms of ID like mail and refill bottles, but they wouldn't budge. Ended up having to contact the pharmacy for a workaround, which could take a week. It's ridiculous and shows zero compassion. I wouldn't recommend using Instacart.

    I used to think Instacart

I used to think Instacart had my back, but after my latest experience, I'm not so sure anymore. I ordered food through the app, expecting my subscription to cover the delivery, only to find out it was actually Uber Eats handling it. So, I ended up paying hefty delivery and service fees. When my food finally arrived—cold and super late—I reached out for help and got bounced between Instacart and Uber Eats. Neither of them owned the problem. Instacart passed me off to Uber Eats, and then they just ended the chat, saying they’d email me. The email was basically a "sorry, not sorry" note. I’ve given Instacart more than one chance, but I’m done now. Not worth it.

    You know, ordering from this

You know, ordering from this service is kinda hit or miss. Sometimes you get a great shopper and everything's perfect, but other times, it feels like a gamble. The bigger the order, the more things can go wrong. I really wish there was some consistent way they managed replacements or kept in touch with customers. It would make things so much easier. Honestly, I'm starting to feel unsure about placing big orders with them anymore. It's a bit of a bummer since I used to rely on them for my groceries.

Just got started with this app, and my first order went smoothly. But then, on my second order, they suddenly deactivated my account out of nowhere! I'm really bummed about it because I was just getting into using the app. Now, I'm stuck waiting for them to respond, and I don't have a couple of days to spare just to get this sorted out. Just stay away from Instacart, seriously.

So, I had a pretty awful experience with Instacart, and it’s definitely my first and last time using them. I was looking for a simple product and saw that Instacart had a good deal, so I signed up for their free trial. Right after I placed the order, I got a bunch of texts from the driver saying he was on his way. Then, another text came through saying my item wasn’t available and offered a replacement, which was more expensive and less quantity. I never agreed to the replacement, but they went ahead and charged me anyway. When the item arrived, I was shocked to see it was not what I wanted and cost way more. I called their customer service, which was useless. They just apologized and told me to fill out a form for a refund. After a few days and no response, they finally said my refund was denied. Even Shoppers Drug Mart couldn’t help since the driver used his own credit card. This company feels like a scam. I canceled my membership, but even that’s a hassle. Just stay away from Instacart, seriously.

Instacart’s customer service is really slipping

So, I had an order that was supposed to arrive within a certain delivery window, but no shopper was assigned. I reached out to support via chat but waited over 20 minutes with no response. Frustrated, I called their support number. The agent assured me the order would be on time, but I pointed out that no shopper had been assigned and the delivery window was already missed. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then confirmed what I already knew—no shopper had been assigned. I asked if I should cancel or wait for a shopper, and she said, "I don't know." After another long hold, she finally canceled my order and said I'd get a refund in 10 business days. I asked if I could get a credit instead, but she said no. Instacart is too dependent on available shoppers, and while I get that, they need to give better info and not charge for orders that can't be delivered. Ten days for a refund is way too long. They gave me a $5 credit for the trouble, but honestly, Instacart’s customer service is really slipping.

    I’m seriously fed up with

I’m seriously fed up with Instacart. My first couple of deliveries were spot-on, but it’s been downhill since. I tried scheduling a few deliveries in advance with a 3-hour window. Simple enough, right? Wrong. Placed my order a day ahead with a 3-hour delivery window, only to find out 30 minutes before the cut-off that they hadn't even assigned a driver. Ended up having to cancel my plans because the order included alcohol and I needed to be home for it. The order finally arrived, and while it was correct, it was super late and only came after I reached out to them. Instacart promised me free delivery on a future $35+ order, which turned out to be useless since I order through Costco with an executive membership. Checked for the free delivery—they insisted I had it, but I didn’t. Sent screenshots and everything, but they still insisted. So frustrating. They were late, I had to cancel plans, and the order arrived only after I pushed for it. And the free delivery? Total joke. So done with this.
