Love my camera, but the lens got scratched so easy and it’s really hard to get it replaced. Not sure if I’ll go with another product from them.

I submerged my camera, it got wet, not good. But warranty expired 2 months back. Sent message, they said if it's their fault, they'll replace for free, they did. No other companies do this. Good customer service. In profit-driven times, this is human touch.

My initial attempt in a shallow pool led to water damage, highlighting the importance of a separate waterproof case. The inconvenience arises when dealing with warranty claims, involving sending the camera to Hong Kong and facing a prolonged wait. Despite this setback, the camera performs well when used appropriately, enhancing outdoor experiences.

I purchased a great product, but I encountered some difficulty when seeking advice on the best way to clean the invisible stick salt residue with plain fresh water after exposure to saltwater. Despite weeks of back-and-forth messages, it took some time to confirm that the method I found on forums, using Dawn Platinum Dish soap to remove all salt residue, was indeed safe. It seems that the customer service could benefit from better training and communication from management in my humble opinion.

If there were a zero-star option, I would choose it. This company from China is nothing short of a scam. Despite paying $18 for shipping, I never received the package with the ordered product. My attempts to resolve the issue with their customer service have been futile. Each time I call the 800-692-0360 number, I speak to different individuals who seem clueless about my situation. Promised callbacks from a manager never happened, and even assurances of sending a replacement twice turned out to be empty promises. Dealing with these dishonest practices has been a nightmare, and I strongly caution against making any purchases from this company. They should be shut down to prevent others from falling victim to their deceptive practices.

My experience with Insta360 has been extremely frustrating. It all started when my Insta360 X3 camera was lost due to a broken selfie stick. I contacted their customer support in the hope of finding a reasonable solution. However, I was offered a mere 30% discount on a new camera. This was deeply disappointing, as it had taken me two months of careful saving to afford the X3. Things took a turn for the worse when I was informed that in order to purchase a new camera with the offered discount, I needed to have a PayPal account. As I didn't have a PayPal account and had no intention of creating one, this requirement was problematic. To make matters even more convoluted, they suggested a bank-to-bank wire transfer as an alternative. The unnecessarily complicated and cumbersome process left me with the impression that Insta360 was not particularly interested in retaining my business.

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Insta360. Their customer care appears to be handled by individuals who have as much of an idea as I do. I've been constantly plagued by issues with downloading and exporting, and I followed their recommendations, even renewing my devices. I spent an absolute fortune and wasted many hours trying to get it to work, to no avail. It seems like I'm going to have to part ways with the product because I wouldn't want to resell it to anybody in good conscience. For me, it's back to GoPro, where I've had more reliable experiences.
