    I've had a generally positive experience with the product, but my interactions with their customer service left me wanting more. I had a simple query about cleaning the invisible stick's salt residue after saltwater exposure. Unfortunately, it took weeks of back-and-forth messages to confirm that using Dawn Platinum Dish soap to remove all the salt residue was a safe method. This process could have been much smoother and quicker, and it seems their customer service could benefit from better training and management.

    I submerged my camera, it got wet, not good. But warranty expired 2 months back. Sent message, they said if it's their fault, they'll replace for free, they did. No other companies do this. Good customer service. In profit-driven times, this is human touch.

    The camera is good, but the customer service is terrible. It took ages to get any response to my emails, and when they did, it was unclear. I bought an accessory that broke, and I ended up losing it and the selfie stick (almost lost the camera too). After 4 weeks of dealing with very annoying customer service, they offered me “half price shipping” saving me around £3… A defect left me £60-70 out of pocket.

    The products are great but the customer support is really bad. I spent around €1.000,- on my first order from their website. After 8 days, my heavy duty clamp stopped working. I had to send 10 emails and reply to more than 20 questions before they sent me a new one. (It took 14 days to fix) (the clamp costs €45,00 just so you know) I would suggest buying the products but their support team definitely needs some training like at GoPro..

    I got the insta360 X5 plus original accessories for my birthday. Took it on my bike for some easy off-road paths and after just 15 minutes the selfie stick broke! My new x5 dropped hard, leaving scratches on both lenses. Customer service quickly said the selfie stick isn’t made for action use 🤦🏼‍♂️. So, it’s an action camera that doesn’t handle action very good.

    My experience with Insta360 has been extremely frustrating. It all started when my Insta360 X3 camera was lost due to a broken selfie stick. I contacted their customer support in the hope of finding a reasonable solution. However, I was offered a mere 30% discount on a new camera. This was deeply disappointing, as it had taken me two months of careful saving to afford the X3. Things took a turn for the worse when I was informed that in order to purchase a new camera with the offered discount, I needed to have a PayPal account. As I didn't have a PayPal account and had no intention of creating one, this requirement was problematic. To make matters even more convoluted, they suggested a bank-to-bank wire transfer as an alternative. The unnecessarily complicated and cumbersome process left me with the impression that Insta360 was not particularly interested in retaining my business.

    If there were a zero-star option, I would choose it. This company from China is nothing short of a scam. Despite paying $18 for shipping, I never received the package with the ordered product. My attempts to resolve the issue with their customer service have been futile. Each time I call the 800-692-0360 number, I speak to different individuals who seem clueless about my situation. Promised callbacks from a manager never happened, and even assurances of sending a replacement twice turned out to be empty promises. Dealing with these dishonest practices has been a nightmare, and I strongly caution against making any purchases from this company. They should be shut down to prevent others from falling victim to their deceptive practices.

    After a decade with GoPro, we decided to give Insta a shot. We mainly use it for adrenaline-packed activities like skydiving and base jumping, but recently took it snorkeling in Fiji and Australia. Sadly, it conked out during one of our snorkeling sessions, just a month after the warranty expired. We reached out to Insta, arguing that such a device should last at least two years under normal use. They replied initially, but then went silent despite our follow-ups. Communication could’ve made this smoother. Disappointed, I'm switching back to GoPro. Never thought I'd leave a negative review, but after ten solid years with GoPro without a hitch, this was a letdown.

    I had my X3 for a few years, and it was alright, until this trip to the river. I wasn't even that deep, just about 2.5 meters, and water still managed to sneak in. Wasn't expecting that at all. So, I contacted their support team, hoping for some help, but all I got was their usual scripted response. It really got under my skin. It felt like they didn't even bother to understand my issue. It's been a frustrating experience, to say the least. After this, I'm pretty much done with them. Heard some good things about the DJI 360, so that’s likely my next move. At least they seem to care about their customers.

    VERY BAD SERVICE I had a terrible experience with this company. I’ve been waiting for more than a week, and my order of nearly £1000 still hasn't been shipped. After reading all the bad reviews, I can tell I’m not the only one who’s upset. Customer service saw how late the order was and just stopped responding. I really can’t understand how such a big company has such poor and untrustworthy support. I am sure these good reviews are fake or somehow paid for. I've been constantly plagued by issues with downloading and exporting, and I followed their recommendations, even renewing my devices. I spent an absolute fortune and wasted many hours trying to get it to work, to no avail. It seems like I'm going to have to part ways with the product because I wouldn't want to resell it to anybody in good conscience. For me, it's back to GoPro, where I've had more reliable experiences.

    I recently got my hands on the Insta360x4 camera, and let me tell you, it's a pretty slick piece of gear. The quality is top-notch, although, like with any camera, low light can be a bit tricky. Editing 360 videos is a fun little challenge, but capturing those full-circle shots feels kind of magical. After about a month, I noticed some sealant poking out at the back. Thought it was normal at first, but turns out it wasn't quite right. Hit up Insta360's customer service, and they were super helpful. Quick chat, got a return ticket, and they sorted everything fast.
