SCAM!
by Jhon

Terrible.

Farehutz: One star in much too high. more like minus ten.
by Martin

One star in much too high. more like minus ten. Booked tickets for two people. They said (Jessica Jackson with Indian accent) I got ticket confirmed but not my partner. Also, that my ticket does not include any luggage allowance, not even a cabin bag, just a toothbrush or something. If I cancel I loose all the money (non-refundable, non cancellable). Only my partner can get a refund but she is disabled so she can’t travel on her own. They made me to upgrade our tickets (£270 EACH EXTRA). I wish I've red the reviews beforehand. I called the airline and checked their website – all bookings have baggage allowance of between 25 to 50 kg. Also checked another agent and the price (similar to originally quoted by Farehutz) included cabin and check-in luggage allowance. Clearly, it's a SCAM. All designed to scam the people. I called my credit card bank and explain the situation. They agreed with me that it looks like a scam and cancelled the card. They asked me to book with someone else. So many people get caught - why they are still around????? No honesty, no decency. She said she was just doing her job. What about if they asked you to put a poison into someone’s glass? Please, I am sure you can find something decent, Jessica – don’t work for scammers – you are becoming one regardless whether you want it or not. Ps. Initially, they emailed me saying they tried to contact me several times, but they did not. They were waiting till I call them, just make me to pay extra or loose everything. They are bullies, nothing else. Now they keep calling, 20 calls and counting, 2 emails so far. How does it feel??? Not just locally but from America as well. Remember these numbers: 0208 0042111 and +1 877 658 0111 Pps. If they manage to take your payment, you can ask your credit card company to recover your money by chargeback. They know these tricks and will believe you. Send them links and examples of the reviews. Ppps. I sent them this review. Suddenly everything got quiet.

Do Not Use this Company - Scam Site
by scott k braman

I purchased the extra Cancellation Protection - which clearly states "Cancellation without a fee and getting a full refund as well within 24 hours of booking" The flight was booked online - with the optional cancelation Protection - I was contacted that the flight I wanted was full and would have to pick another flight - at which point I stated I wanted a refund - just cancel the trip I was told - by your agent directly, that the cancellation protection worked Only from 24 hours before flight – I was told this 4 times when pointing out it states clearly 24 hours from booking. Was told many times over 20 min discussion with agent that is not how it works it is 24 hours prior and refused refund. He specifically stated that unless I accepted the new flight, I would not be able to get a refund at all. Told me to call back to cancel the new flight. 8 more times tried to call back – hung up on every time. Finally got through 3/21/24 at 8:35AM and was put on hold for over 20 min each time and bounced to 3 different people, last one claimed to be manager and gave me the fake phone numbers. Manager supplied wrong customer service phone number to get refund from Delta: 800-123-6645 Actual customer service number is 800-221-1212 When I called him on that as the wrong number– he insisted it was a “Special number” to get a full refund. I had already talked to Delta and they told me that the travel company was responsible for their cancellation protection and would have to issue a refund – not Delta. Your Manager, who would not share his name when asked multiple times, repeatedly defended the false number as correct and assured me that number would be the place to call – number does not exist The direct line your "Manager" supplied me if things went wrong : 800-503 1118 goes to the Dream Center Leadership School

SCAM ARTISTS

I booked a round-trip ticket through a third-party company (Farehutz) for TAP Air Portugal on 7/25/2023 in the amount of $826.14 and paid in full. The departing flight was scheduled for 4/23/24, returning on 4/30/24. Upon arriving to the airport, I was told by airline employees that I did not have a reservation for the flight. I have been trying to obtain information regarding a refund from the third-party company, Farehutz. However, they have not been cooperating. First, they blamed the airline for canceling the flight and informed me that TAP Portugal had not refunded them yet. During our most recent correspondence, Farehutz informed me that they have been in touch with your airline, who is blaming me for canceling the flight. Farehutz stated that TAP Portugal gave them the IP address from where the flight was canceled which matches my address. This is false information as I did not cancel my flight, and did not have access to changing the flight itinerary, as Farehutz booked my flight. When I asked for the IP address they were given, so I could cross check with any information I can obtain from TAP Portugal, they refused and proceeded to tell me that they don’t actually have an IP address, it’s the airline that does. It has now been a full week, and I’m continuing to get conflicting stories from Farehutz as to why they cannot refund me for services not rendered.

Scam - No more tickets available then upsell high cost
by VC

We bought a bunch of tickets at once for our family at the advertised rate. Upon completing the order, I received a confirmation that the order is being processed. A while later, I get an email telling me they tried to call me several times, without success and that I need to call them back ASAP. An Indian call centre answers, then I'm put on hold to connect me with the actual agent who "worked my order". I'm then told they could only confirm a few of the tickets, but not the rest of the people because we bought the lower fare price-point and there were no more spots on the flight. Our only option was to buy an upgrade for nearly $1000 more. I asked to cancel, he proceeded to tell me I would lose the money for the 3 confirmed passengers. It was like talking to a scripted robot - pointless, clearly a scam. I asked if I could have another flight at a different time, he said yes, but would cost an additional $800. One other option was to drive 2 hours to the next city to grab a flight there, but again, more money. All options more money. Oddly enough, he could move my entire group to a new flight, but cannot cancel. Clearly a hole in his scam. I hung up, spoke with my credit card/bank company. They cannot sell me a product I didn't agree to. They wanted me to verbally commit to this.

Imagine planning a dream birthday getaway, only for it to turn into a nightmare.
by Mynaisha

Imagine planning a dream birthday getaway, only for it to turn into a nightmare. Picture this: I booked a last-minute flight through the Last Minute app for an early morning departure from NYC to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Sounds exciting, right? But hold on—here's where it gets frustrating. Shortly after booking, I receive a call from a representative claiming my ticket was suddenly sold out due to a promotion glitch. To secure a flight, I had to fork out an extra $160 and settle for an evening departure. Fast forward to the day of departure—more hurdles awaited. The JetBlue flight from JFK was delayed, and boarding, scheduled for 2:11 PM, didn't commence until 3:20 PM. Little did I know, the ordeal was far from over. After boarding, we sat on the plane for a grueling seven hours without any explanation or basic amenities—no food, no water, nothing. It was a complete disaster. Imagine the disappointment of celebrating my boyfriend's birthday under such circumstances—ruined doesn't even begin to describe it. Amidst the chaos, one person stood out—it is Alex!! His assistance in navigating this ordeal was invaluable. If not for him, I wouldn't have gotten through this ordeal. Alex, you're a lifesaver! Thank you for helping salvage what you could of this disastrous trip.

Hoo boy, what a pantload of 💩
by Lisa

These guys are your classic bait/switch operators. I was looking for tickets for my son, his partner, and my grandchild (age 4) to come and visit me for a few days. As soon as the tickets were paid for, I get an email saying "we have tried several times to contact you"...oh, horse sh*t. No they had not attempted to contact me. But, at their urging, I contacted the customer service hotline where I was on the phone with someone named Ahmit Cooper (sure, Cooper). There was a bit of a language barrier, mostly just his accent, which I was willing the work with AND which he *could* have remedied by slowing down a bit but I think the fast talking was part of it. Suddenly, my tickets are not available. But for an additional price, you see? Maybe a few hundred more. I informed Ahmit Cooper (cooper, right?) that he was engaged in a bait and switch scam and that I would be reporting him and leaving NEGATIVE STAR REVIEWS. ALSO: during my phone call with Mr Cooper, I could hear several other conversations going on in the background. It sounded very much like an entire sweatshop devoted to people baiting and switching folks for airline tickets. A scam farm. I just want my children to visit me. 😭

Ugh, this airline ticket saga
by Samuel Nandolo

Ugh, this airline ticket saga was a total nightmare! So, I grab this ticket deal, right? Then out of the blue, I get a call from a fast-talking dude with an accent thicker than molasses. Couldn't make heads or tails of what he was saying until I practically yelled at him to slow down. And get this, it sounded like a whole room of people doing the same bait and switch hustle. They hit me with the classic trio of scams – first, my San Diego direct flight was suddenly "sold out." Then, they shuffled me onto other airlines, none with direct flights, and slapped me with a bill that's more than double what I coughed up initially. Plus, they messed with my conference plans, pushing my arrival time to a ridiculous 9:35 PM instead of a decent 10 AM. When I threw a fit, Mr. Fast Talker miraculously pulled some strings, got "special permission" from his supervisor for my original flight out. And surprise, surprise, the return flight drama got some special permission too, but only after I caught onto their sneaky game. What a bunch of scammers! Bottom line – steer clear of these fraudsters. They lure you in with cheap flights and then pull this royal screw-over move when you least expect it. Sneaky, sneaky!

This is a scam!

On May 8th I bought tickets for my son and I to go to Portland from Denver. We fly out of Denver June 22nd and arrive back in Denver July 20th. They called and told me that they had overbooked the flight and i needed a new returning flight on July 19th. Shit happens, I let it go. Come to find out that there were going to be 2 charges. 1 for Frontier Airlines at $179.99 for the ticket and an additional charge of 119.99 that I was told is “taxes”. The taxes on a $180 flight is almost as much as the flight?. After noticing that as well as 4 DoorDash charges, I disputed the charges. They called me today, 5/17 and asked why I disputed the charges. I complained about the 2 charges and they told me it’s taxes and if I didn’t pay as well as an additional $50 ($25 each way)fine, they would cancel my flight and blacklist me from the airline. Isn’t that blackmail? I’m looking into legal ramifications. Farehutz may be getting sued.

by Jake Shamash

Watch out, folks – my experience with Farehutz Tickets Agency was a total disaster. I fell for the promise of flexible date changes on a Belfast to Lusaka ticket, only to find out it was all a sham. Tried to switch up my return dates, and bam! They hit me with a fee that could probably fund a small country. Clearly, they're all about the money and not giving a hoot about keeping customers happy. Sneaky tactics to reel us in. But it gets worse – canceling the flight? Forget about it. They shut that down like it's a VIP party we're not invited to. And don't even dream about changing destinations without shelling out more cash than the original ticket cost. Switching from Belfast to Ghana felt like I was buying a private jet. Long story short, Farehutz Travels is a nightmare if you want an honest and customer-friendly travel gig. Save yourself the headache and steer clear. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

by Sally

Do not trust this business. I got scammed! After charging me, they emailed me saying my return flight is full so I now have to pay TRIPLE the initial price for my tickets! How could they charge me without confirming my flights? It made no sense, because my departing flight was also changed and they refuse to give you your money back. Total scammers, do not trust them. The customer service was equally horrible, they don't listen or care and repeat the same lines that they can't do anything. They also use FAKE 5 star generic reviews on TrustPilot (all praising their customer service representatives with specific names), to drown out the real and recent 1 star ratings.

A nightmare!!!
by Paul G

I recently had a negative experience with Farehutz airline agency through the SkyRadar app. After purchasing what seemed to be affordable airline tickets, I was contacted by the agency and informed that I needed to pay double the price due to the airline company not having available seats. When I expressed my desire to cancel the tickets, I was threatened with losing my money if I didn't opt for an upgrade. This experience left me feeling frustrated and deceived. I took the necessary steps to report the incident to my bank to prevent any further financial loss. I hope that sharing my experience will help others avoid falling victim to similar fraudulent practices.

by Peter Lee

Bought tickets on their site. They called back about an hour later saying the return ticket wasn't available (after I got confirmation before). They couldn't cancel because they had already confirmed my departure tickets but could get my return for 200 more per ticket. Told them to cancel or I'll have it canceled through my credit card company. They canceled it!!! The first person I couldn't clearly understand because he had such a heavy Indian accent. Found another person who had a milder Indian accent. I asked where they were stationed and they said Canada.. Maybe, but it’s really a coincidence.

A HUGE SCAM
by Anonymous

An absolute SCAM. They advertise cheap flights and take your payment. But, then they call you and tell you the flight is no longer available and that they can offer you an alternate flight for almost double the cost of your original one. I was told I couldn’t be refunded after asking multiple times. Once I finally looked into the terms and conditions, I told the scam artist I was owed a refund and then I was told to hold. Once she returned, she was magically able to refund my money even though moments before it was “impossible” and they could only offer me a credit originally. Please , DO NOT TRUST THEM!

by Slavo Cherepov

Ordered a ticket to Chicago, round trip. Called back, saying there is $100 upcharge, and it is nonrefundable. So I had no choice but to pay. I argued with some lady, who said "she thinks she will leave the reservation as..." and I threatened to call my bank. So she canceled the reservation on the spot. Also...very confident the positive reviews "from the fellas" are fake also. Scam airline company, twisting money out of people, claiming once reservation is made, it is not cancelable. B.S. do not agree, and call your bank or CC company. Do not do business with low life losers!

Oh man, major red flags with this company! They sold me a ticket ages ago, charged my card, sent a confirmation, and then bam – day before my flight, Aeromexico is clueless about my booking. Called Farehutz to sort it out, and they're just giving me the runaround, saying they'll call the airline, but no action. Plus, their customer service hotline turned into a ghost town. Lesson learned: don't trust the Trustpilot reviews; they might be faker than a three-dollar bill. Better hit up Google for the real lowdown – loads of 1-star reviews echoing the same scammy vibes.

Bate and Switch Operation
by Cathy

I was on an online flight booking service who directed me to this site for booking. Had to call customer service to complete booking. Rep tried changing me to another time (I booked flights and times I wanted). When I refused, rep tried to book me on another airline with additional baggage charges. Eventually, after a lot of argument I was sent to a supervisor who I demanded a refund from. Had I done what rep suggested I would have paid more which defeats the point of going through a booking service. In my opinion, this is a "bate and switch" business. Stay away!!

by Annette B

This website operates in a questionable manner. Initially quoted $238 for a round trip, I faced unexpected charges. After confirming my outgoing flight, they demanded an extra $250 for the return due to an expired promo or pay $60 more for a next-day flight. No cancellation option was given. Later, they altered the return promo, offering a different airport an hour away for the same price. This left me with an inconvenient choice, anticipating added expenses for a hotel or a lengthy Uber ride. The promised discount fare turned out to be a misleading claim.

by Mark Floro

Caution! Avoid Farehutz! Experienced a bait-and-switch scenario after booking a supposedly budget-friendly round-trip flight. Initially priced at $600 for two, the departure flight was later claimed as unbookable, with an attempt to raise the cost to $1000. Refusal to accept the inflated fare led to resistance, with a $200 flight credit fee imposed and misleading claims about limited alternatives. Vigilance is essential; Farehutz may exploit those less discerning. Steer clear of this airline booking service to avoid potential rip-offs.

Do not use this site to buy tickets! You will loose your money and be very disappointed ! They advertised great ticket prices for our vacation so I booked 4 tickets with them. A few minutes later, someone from Farehutz called me and said that 2 travellers in our group could not be booked for the advertised price and that the other 2 tickets were non refundable. The scam is they say part of your flight is booked but your returning flight is no longer available at the price they quoted you and try to charge you 3 times the cost. I told them to cancel and they said I was responsible for the departure flights and I couldn’t cancel. Had to cancel my credit card as they told me they had lawyers that would deal with my situation Wow is all I can say

They offer great deals but once selected, you're locked into paying the prices and no refunds possible even though they no longer offer the prices you signed up for. Magically the "going" flight is still available but the return is now available only other days or hundreds (several hundreds) of dollars more and there's nothing you can do. Since I was buying tickets for two different parties this happened twice on the same day. HORRIBLE DISREPUTABLE ORGANIZATION
