    After spending a few weeks

After spending a few weeks on the site, I think I might've found the one. The match software they use is pretty amazing, and it's like it just knew what I needed. We clicked instantly and discovered we share the same goals and dreams. It feels like everything just fell into place effortlessly. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but eHarmony really came through in helping me find someone who truly gets me. It's kind of surreal how well we fit together, and I couldn't be happier with how things turned out. Huge thanks to eHarmony for being the bridge to my new relationship. Love can be tricky, but this made it simple.

Makes the whole dating thing way less frustrating

So, you know how some of those dating sites just throw random profiles at you? Well, eharmony ain't one of them. Filling out the questionnaire took a bit of time, not gonna lie, but it felt like they were really digging deep to figure out what I’m all about. And honestly, the effort paid off. The matches I’ve been getting are spot-on, like they actually put thought into it. It’s not just about looks; it’s like they get my vibe. Really impressed with how well they’re picking people that I actually connect with. Makes the whole dating thing way less frustrating.

    I've been trying out eHarmony,

I've been trying out eHarmony, and it's been pretty decent so far. The website is super easy to navigate, which is a big plus. I've tried a bunch of different dating sites before, and I gotta say, eHarmony has a better selection of matches. However, the downside is that there aren't a ton of matches in my local area. The ones that do pop up are often too far away, and the distance makes things tricky. It's not really eHarmony's fault, just kinda how things are. Overall, I'd say it's worth the subscription if you're looking for quality over quantity. - Suzy ☺️

I tried out a new online service

I recently tried out a new online service for personality assessment. It was kinda cool, especially the self-description part. You know, it's not just about answering straightforward questions. It lets you describe yourself and even get input from friends. This way, you can get a more nuanced understanding of your personality, not just a binary answer. Though, I did feel some of the questions could be a bit more flexible. Overall, it was a pretty insightful experience. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking to dive deeper into understanding yourself.

It's been fine so far. EHarmony's platform is simple to use and it's a good value for the price. It's better than some other sites I've tried. The selection of matches is also better. Not eHarmony's issue, but there aren't many matches near me, and people from farther away often aren't interested due to the distance. Suzy ☺️

I canceled the Premium membership in under a day. The platform seems to have few users, leading to more distant matches. Be mindful that if you cancel within 14 days, you'll be charged £64 for the personalized profile (they claim it's a fair fee). Overall, it’s disappointing and a waste of money.

    I'm pretty happy with it

Honestly, this site feels like being part of a family, even though it's just a business. They really know how to pick matches, way better than other sites I've used. Those other ones just throw a bunch of random profiles at you, like they don't even care where the people are from. I mean, I don't want to meet someone who lives hundreds of miles away. This site gets it. They find people who are actually nearby, which is the whole point, right? Makes me feel like they actually want me to find someone, not just take my money. So yeah, I'm pretty happy with it.

    So, I was thinking about

So, I was thinking about signing up for Eharmony 'cause they offered me this pretty sweet discount. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal, right? But then I started digging around and noticed their Trustpilot reviews weren't exactly glowing. It's kinda weird 'cause some folks say it's a top-notch site with a solid product. But here's the thing: their customer care seems to be lacking, and those extra monthly or quarterly charges? Not cool, especially when other dating sites don't pull that move. I'm gonna keep checking out the reviews and see if Eharmony steps up their game. Maybe then I'll feel more confident about subscribing. Until then, I'm on the fence.

Dealing with them like a headache

Man, dealing with this company was a bit of a headache. Every time I tried to call, I just hit voicemail and ended up emailing instead. They get 2 stars from me, mostly because they gave me back half of my money for a subscription I didn't use. The whole auto-renewal thing caught me off guard, and even though I explained I hadn't even touched the account, they kept more than they should have based on the time it was active. I even mentioned I was having a tough time with bills, but they didn’t seem to care much. Honestly, a bit more compassion would go a long way, especially for folks struggling with the cost of living and not realizing the auto-renewal trap!

    Frustrating time

I recently faced a frustrating experience with an auto-renewal service. The company claimed they sent a reminder email, but I never found it in my inbox. When I reached out to their customer support, they insisted a reminder was sent and there was nothing they could do—no refund, no further discussion. It felt like they were ignoring my concerns completely. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to help was really disappointing. I expected a bit more understanding and flexibility in resolving the issue. The whole ordeal left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and it's made me question whether I want to continue using their service in the future.

    So, my friend and I

So, my friend and I spent what felt like forever—like an hour and a half—setting up my profile and filling out all the questions on this site. Just when we thought we were done, bam! They hit us with the fees and durations. I was shocked to see how pricey the short-term options were, especially since I had no clue what kind of guys I'd even meet. So, I opted for what I thought was a more affordable plan, assuming I'd pay every six months. But guess what? Turns out they frontload the whole fee in the first four months! Why hide that in the fineprint? It feels like they're preying on our emotions and hopes. They should really rethink this approach.

    I tried this dating site

I tried this dating site thinking it would be great, but it wasn’t. The selection of dates was super limited, and the costs were way too high. Their cheapest option was a 6-month subscription, which felt sneaky. I canceled within the 14-day cooling-off period, hoping for a refund, but they charged me £65 for a so-called 'Personality Profile' that was useless. It seemed like a way to dodge consumer regulations. When I reached out to customer service, they were quick to inform me that nothing could be done. Honestly, there are much better dating sites out there, like Match. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

    You won't believe what happened

You won't believe what happened with Eharmony. I signed up thinking I'd try it for a month, but they pulled a fast one on me. Three days later, I saw a charge of £330 on my credit card! Turns out, they automatically subscribe you for a whole year, no matter what you choose initially. And now, they’re saying I owe them another £500! It's ridiculous. It seems like the only way to stop this is to contact my bank and cancel my card. Seriously, stay away from Eharmony. If you're looking for something better, I've had great luck with Fling4Me.com. Trust me, it's a way better option.

    I decided to give Premium

I decided to give Premium Membership a shot, hoping for a smooth experience, but it was anything but that. While filling out some questions, the app logged me out unexpectedly, making me start over. Viewing my profile the way others do? Not happening. The photo cropping tool? Frustrating to use. And it takes forever to get photos reviewed. I even reported a profile with what looked like AI-generated photos and got nothing back. Customer service was disappointing. After four days, I asked for a refund, but they insisted on keeping £65 for the personality report. I tried to negotiate, offering to pay for just the days I used, but Allison B. and Fabriana J. kept pointing to their terms, saying it was ‘reasonable.’ When I asked where it said they could charge £65, they couldn’t tell me. They showed no interest in understanding why I was unhappy and were inflexible about the refund. Eventually, they just stopped replying. I liked the idea of the personality tests, but the company's approach left a sour taste.

    I'm 73 and have been

I'm 73 and have been living alone for 20 years, quite content with my solitude. Recently, I felt a longing for some companionship and saw an ad for E-Harmony offering a 6-month subscription for £10+ per month. I eagerly signed up, but to my shock, I was enrolled for 12 months instead. When I reached out to customer service, they were ice-cold, unsympathetic, and insisted I was locked into a 12-month contract. No help, no understanding. I've already made the first payment and stopped future ones, hoping to fix this mess. Now, they’re threatening legal action if I don't pay the remaining £120+. With my heart condition, I can't handle this stress and will likely have to pay, but I’m furious. How can I find companionship on a site that’s caused me so much frustration? To anyone considering this site, double-check everything before committing. If I could give a negative rating, I would. This experience is far from harmonious.

    Be careful out there, folks

Alright, let me share my experience with online dating sites. Many of them claim to be free, but once you sign up, they ask for your banking details and charge you for everything - chatting, video calls, even sending emojis. Some sites, like Downunder Ozzy, might be free but don’t offer instant messaging, so it can take forever to make a connection. I’ve noticed that these sites often bombard you with messages from dozens of women, making you spend hundreds of dollars without any real dates. They take advantage of your time and need for communication. Free sites might block you if you're not active enough because they need to make money from advertisers. Beware of fake profiles and scammers with sob stories. They’ll try to get you to talk off-site and con you out of money. Some sites are so hard to navigate that they force you to upgrade to premium just to make a connection. Be careful out there, folks.

    Just nothing

So, I thought getting a membership would help me find someone special. But guess what? There was literally just one match, and they weren't looking for anything serious. And this was supposed to be within a 50-mile radius! Feeling kinda cheated, I decided to cancel my membership and just take the £20 hit. I was hoping for some decency, maybe even a refund. Instead, they closed my account and sent me tips on how to widen my search, which was pointless since I didn’t have access anymore. Then, they charged me an extra £50 for some email about a service I didn’t even sign up for! I’d never used Trustpilot before, but seriously, don't waste your money on this site unless you're in a big city and don't mind random charges. Their website claims they’re “kind” and “real,” but honestly, it feels more like they're just desperate for cash. £70 for 30 minutes of nothing? Total rip-off. Avoid.

    Frustration with Customer Service Tactics

Navigating Cineworld and eHarmony's customer service feels like a never-ending maze. Trying to get help from Cineworld is a nightmare. There's no direct contact. No phone number you can call, and emails feel like they go into a black hole. You're stuck using their online forms, which don't let you explain your problem properly. When you do get a reply, it's like talking to a robot – generic and missing the point. Then there's eHarmony. Cancelling a subscription is harder than it should be. Even after you think you've cancelled, charges still show up. Reaching out for help is useless, with no real responses, just automated messages. It's frustrating and feels like these companies care more about their profits than their customers. Consumers deserve better, and these companies need to step up.

    Joining this dating site was

Joining this dating site was such a letdown. At first glance, it seemed promising, but after signing up, I quickly realized how misleading it was. Many profiles that matched my preferences were mysteriously inaccessible, and occasionally, when I stumbled upon them, they vanished as quickly as they appeared. What really frustrated me was the sheer number of fake profiles. Some users even used old photos of famous people, like Richard Gere, or images snatched from social media influencers. It felt like I was constantly encountering scammers. Reporting these fake accounts seemed pointless since customer service was practically non-existent. If they did respond, it was just a generic reply that addressed nothing. Honestly, save your time and money—this service just isn’t worth the hassle.

eHarmony is not a good dating website

Please read this review before using eHarmony. The ‘Basic Membership’ offered will not let you reply to message or view images; this is hidden behind a very expensive pay wall. This pay wall is either a 6 or 12 month rolling contract which they will not let you leave even if you have good reasons for doing so. The filters on the website do not work. While I was using it, despite asking for matches only in Scotland, the majority were coming from England. There were many bots, all with vague profiles and copy paste dialog. Many did not respond to messages. To summarise, the website is a waste of time and money, run by people without scruples, only interested in trapping you in an expensive contract with little to no chance of making a match with somebody. Please do not use.

I joined eHarmony with a discounted 6-month deal for £71.16. After a week of barely any activity and seeing the same profiles daily, I asked about the cancellation process within the 14-day cooling-off period. They replied the next day, saying my subscription was canceled, and I’d get a £6.16 refund since £65 was deducted for the mandatory personality profile. I hadn’t asked to cancel, just wanted info! They apologized for the mistake but said the cancellation was irreversible. They offered a discounted renewal, but I had already lost £65 for 7 days of a useless membership. After this, their customer service was non-existent. They ignored my messages or sent generic replies. Back on basic membership, I got views and likes I couldn’t even see. Feels like a scam. I can’t recommend eharmony

I signed up for eharmony recently, hoping to find a serious relationship. The process started off straightforward – I indicated I was a man looking for a woman and filled out the usual sign-up details like email and password. After that, I went through a series of quizzes: compatibility questions, personal details, and some fun image selections. Everything seemed fine until I completed my profile and got to the home screen. To my surprise, the matches were a mixed bag. The first page showed women, but then I clicked to the next page and, unexpectedly, there were men, some partially undressed or in inappropriate photos. This was quite off-putting and not what I expected from a site advertising serious relationships. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend eharmony.

Be cautious and read everything carefully before committing!

I recently had quite the experience with this site, and it's been a rollercoaster. They lure you in with a tempting 3-month introductory offer at half the price, but make sure to read the fine print. If you cancel within the first 14 days, you still owe them around £65. Miss that window, and you're stuck for the entire contract period. Their terms even state that they can't guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. If they get hacked and your data is compromised, they pretty much wash their hands of it. This seems like a clear breach of data protection laws to me. When I tried to raise these concerns, they just deleted my profile but still charged me. It's frustrating and feels really unfair. Be cautious and read everything carefully before committing!

So, I signed up for eharmony thinking it was all about serious relationships, right? They claim it's only for folks ready for commitment, but guess what? Tons of separated people on there, not even divorced yet. Honestly, the site feels like a last resort for people who would accept just about anyone. I took their compatibility test, paid £65, and expected to meet people who actually fit my profile. Nope, not a single match made sense. And if you try to maintain some standards, they act like you're the problem, suggesting you should settle for less. Tried to cancel citing misrepresentation, but got hit with intimidating emails about paying the full subscription or facing legal threats. It's ridiculous and stressful. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

    If I could give zero

If I could give zero stars, I would. Paid for a subscription and searched broadly in my area. Quickly noticed there aren't many members. I used Live Chat to express my dissatisfaction and request a cancellation. The advisor suggested I widen my search and "get out of my comfort zone." She said I only need one match and pointed me to some dating tips. I found it patronizing and said so. No response. They downgraded my account and refunded my subscription but kept £65. When I complained, they told me to read the t&cs. They kept my account open, so it looks like they have more members. I still get emails about 'likes' from subscribers, but I can't see profiles or reply. A week later, they offered me a 60% discount for a new subscription. Feels like a scam.

    I jumped into eHarmony thinking

I jumped into eHarmony thinking it was the place to find my soulmate, but I was pretty let down. The site brags about millions of profiles and some genius matching system, but I barely found any potential matches. Seriously, only about 15 people popped up in Greater Manchester, and just 80 across the whole UK? With so many people around, that's just sad. It felt like most profiles were just sitting there, gathering dust. Makes you wonder if some of them are even real. Once you realize the user base is basically non-existent, you're already locked into a six-month plan that drains your wallet. It's frustrating to feel stuck and out of pocket for something that doesn't deliver. Feels like they’re taking advantage of folks just searching for connection.

So, there's this thing going on with eHarmony that's got me scratching my head. I've been a paying member, hoping to find some genuine connections. But lately, I've been getting likes from profiles that disappear faster than a rabbit in a magic show! Each time I tried to check them out, I got a message saying eHarmony removed the profile. No, it wasn’t the user. Weird, right? When I reached out to eHarmony, they couldn't give me a straight answer. It’s frustrating, and honestly feels like they’re trying to pull a fast one on us. I’ve taken it to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, hoping they’ll look into it. If you've had similar issues, maybe consider reporting it too. Let's make some noise and see if we can get some answers!

When I first dipped my toes into online dating, I thought eHarmony was the golden ticket to finding my perfect match. But boy, was I wrong. The pool of potential partners felt more like a puddle. Their suggestion to widen my search to other countries? Not exactly practical for someone who believes in meeting people in real life. After some trial and error, I stumbled upon Plenty of Fish and even gave Tinder a shot, and to my surprise, they offered way more options. That's how I met my boyfriend!
