    After a rough breakup

After a rough breakup, I decided to give eharmony a shot. I didn't have high hopes, but then I got this message from a guy who seemed kinda shy. We started chatting, and before I knew it, we decided to meet up in York. Fast forward a year and a few months, and we're still together. Honestly, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me. The connection we have is amazing, and it's all thanks to eharmony, even if they did make me commit to a year of payments. Worth every penny, though! It's crazy how a random message can lead to something so meaningful.

It's been fine so far. EHarmony's platform is simple to use and it's a good value for the price. It's better than some other sites I've tried. The selection of matches is also better. Not eHarmony's issue, but there aren't many matches near me, and people from farther away often aren't interested due to the distance. Suzy ☺️

I canceled the Premium membership in under a day. The platform seems to have few users, leading to more distant matches. Be mindful that if you cancel within 14 days, you'll be charged £64 for the personalized profile (they claim it's a fair fee). Overall, it’s disappointing and a waste of money.

You know, I've tried a few dating sites, but this one really took the cake. It's like they don't even care about us regular folks. First off, the pricing is through the roof, and finding out how much you're actually paying is like solving a mystery. And just when you think you're done, surprise! They hit you with auto-renewals, and good luck trying to cancel because it's like navigating a maze. Plus, if you're not living in a bustling city, don't expect many matches nearby—most are way too far to even consider. And forget about getting any real help from customer service; it's all bots and auto-responses. It's a shame, really, because we deserve better experiences than this.

    My search preferences?

My search preferences? Totally ignored, like they didn't even matter. It was a stark contrast to my experience on AFFinders.com, where meetups happened without jumping through hoops. Eharmony's free membership is basically useless; you can't see anything beyond some blurry pictures. I suspect they keep outdated profiles in the mix because many so-called "active" users haven’t logged in for years. And don't even get me started on the cancellation process—it's a nightmare of complexity, clearly designed to make you give up and just keep paying. Overall, felt more like a trap than a tool for finding connections.

Eharmony isn't getting my messages through to the women. It feels like they're blocking them on purpose. I've been using eharmony for 2 months now and nothing has come of it. Are they just after my money and not actually trying to find me women? They need to let my messages through or they'll lose me.

    I've been using this dating

I've been using this dating service for a few months and had only a couple of matches, but that's not the main issue here. The real problem started when I tried to cancel my subscription. I thought I'd successfully canceled online, but then I noticed a big charge pending on my PayPal for another year. I reached out to customer service, but they claimed my email didn't match any active accounts. Even after providing my account ID, they insisted I had no active subscription. The payment went through anyway, and PayPal couldn't help me recover my money. To make matters worse, I later received a threatening email demanding payment for a subscription they already charged me for. This experience was beyond frustrating. If you're using this service, document everything and double-check your cancellation, or you might get caught in a mess like mine.

    Awfull!

So, it's been about five weeks since I first tried eHarmony, and honestly, I'm still not impressed. I feel stuck because I signed up for six months and nothing's really changed. Living in a small village means my profile mentions it, and some guys have messaged me saying they know the area, which is kind of creepy. I reached out to customer service, but they said there's nothing they can do about it. Plus, there's this "say goodbye" feature that's just harsh. You're chatting with someone, and then boom—they say goodbye, and that's it. It's quite upsetting. The lack of potential matches is another issue. Customer service suggested broadening my criteria, which is ridiculous. I ended up having to include way more than I'm comfortable with, and still, the matches are limited. It feels like a waste of money at this point.

eHarmony is not a good dating website

Please read this review before using eHarmony. The ‘Basic Membership’ offered will not let you reply to message or view images; this is hidden behind a very expensive pay wall. This pay wall is either a 6 or 12 month rolling contract which they will not let you leave even if you have good reasons for doing so. The filters on the website do not work. While I was using it, despite asking for matches only in Scotland, the majority were coming from England. There were many bots, all with vague profiles and copy paste dialog. Many did not respond to messages. To summarise, the website is a waste of time and money, run by people without scruples, only interested in trapping you in an expensive contract with little to no chance of making a match with somebody. Please do not use.

So, I joined eHarmony a while back, hoping for a decent dating experience, but it’s been quite a ride, and not in a good way. First off, I sent them emails about some issues, but they just seemed to vanish into thin air. There’s also a ton of fake profiles, like over a hundred, and even after reporting them, nothing changes. Most profiles have blurry or no photos, and barely any personal info, which defeats the whole purpose. Plus, getting messages ignored is more common than not. It’s like talking to a wall sometimes. I’ve even come across profiles that haven’t been active for ages. eHarmony needs to step up their game and improve verification standards, and maybe show some transparency with data usage, too. I’m really hoping they sort these out soon.

    I just got hit with

I just got hit with a huge charge of £358.80 for a 12-month renewal that I never agreed to. Seriously, I didn’t get any heads-up about the renewal, and I even sent a cancellation request the very next day, well within the cooling-off period. But nope, eHarmony wasn't having it. They threw some internal policy excuse at me and completely ignored the fact that UK laws require clear consent and renewal notices. Their responses were just copy-paste jobs, not even acknowledging my actual concerns. It's like talking to a brick wall. I've had to dispute the charge with my bank and even reported it to consumer authorities. This whole mess feels like a big disrespect. We should get clarity, not sneaky renewals and automated replies.

    I signed up for this

I signed up for this website thinking it would be a great way to meet new people, but it turned out to be a total scam. After subscribing on a Friday, I was shown just five profiles despite keeping my preferences open. It felt like a ghost town. Frustrated, I reached out to customer service asking for a refund, mentioning the UK consumer law that allows for no-fault refunds within 14 days. Instead of help, I received an email stating my account was deleted and they charged me £65 for a so-called "personality test." The terms and conditions mentioned nothing about such charges. On top of that, they billed me £15 for just three days of use. I'm disputing these charges with my bank and reporting the site. Total rip-off!

    I've been on this site

I've been on this site for a couple of days and already decided to cancel my annual renewal. The platform itself works okay, but if you're hoping to connect with someone nearby, you might end up frustrated. Searching within 50km of my location brought up just a few profiles, and most didn't really catch my interest. Many seemed a bit outdated in style. I initially signed up because of a discount, but honestly, the selection was underwhelming. If you're thinking about subscribing, I'd suggest looking at competitors. I'm actually on another site as a free member, and I'm planning to subscribe there soon. The options are much better, and I can actually see the photos. Eharmony, you need to step up your game.

I had a pretty rough experience with this company. At first, things seemed fine, but then stuff started to feel off. It’s like they’re doing shady things behind the scenes, and it doesn't sit right with me. I’ve heard stories from other customers who feel the same way, and it’s frustrating that they’re getting away with it. It’s not just minor issues; it feels like they’re outright scamming people. Honestly, it seems like something needs to be done, maybe even taking legal action like what happened in Australia. When you're dealing with a company that seems to have no accountability, it makes you question how they’re still operating. It's time they face some real consequences for their actions.

    Eharmony turned out to be

Eharmony turned out to be a disappointment for me. I was hoping to find matches within my age range, but there were zero prospects in my area. AFFinders.com offered a larger pool of genuine profiles without charging membership fees, which was refreshing. Eharmony, on the other hand, seems more focused on getting you to commit to a long-term subscription. The most frustrating part? They automatically renew your subscription even if you opt out, insisting that your auto-pay box was checked when it wasn't. Their so-called 14-day cooling-off period is just a myth, with no chance of a refund. It feels like a complete scam, and their customer support is unhelpful. Save your money and look elsewhere.

So, I thought I'd give this dating site a shot, but it quickly turned into a nightmare. They advertised loads of local singles, but once I signed up, all I saw were profiles of people 30+ miles away. I'm not into long-distance driving just to meet someone, so I decided to cancel my membership within their 14-day cooling-off period. I figured I'd get my initial £14.45 back, but instead, they took another £50.55 from my account without any warning! When I reached out to them, they refused to refund me, claiming everything was legit. Now I'm dealing with my bank to sort this mess out. Honestly, this site is all about false promises and sneaky charges. Stay away if you value your time and money!

Trying out Eharmony was a bit of a letdown. I was looking forward to meeting new people, but the search criteria didn’t seem to work at all, which was frustrating. Compared to AFFinders.com, where I actually got to meet people without jumping through hoops, Eharmony felt like a waste of time. It's a real hassle

So picture this: you're browsing around, thinking eHarmony might be your next go-to for meeting someone special. You've had decent times on other sites like AMFling.com, so why not give it a shot, right? But then, bam! You find out they've set up this sneaky monthly auto-pay without even giving you a heads up. You're just cruising along, and suddenly, they have your bank info, and you're locked into this thing. It's a bit of a shocker, especially when you're expecting something straightforward. If you're already caught up in it, be prepared to jump through hoops to cancel. Your best bet? Head to your bank and cancel your card to stop this mess. It's a real hassle, so just be cautious!

    So rough experience

I had a rough experience with this company, and it's honestly something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I used their service briefly, just about 3 hours, and decided it wasn't for me, so I deleted it. But then, out of nowhere, they're demanding payment and even threatening me with debt recovery. It's really frustrating, especially since I have disabilities and visual impairments, and they still insist I'm responsible for the charges. It's like they target vulnerable people on purpose, trying to squeeze money out of them. I really hope someone takes legal action against them because their tactics are just plain wrong. It feels like they care more about money than treating people fairly.

However, they still charged me £65, and now I'm having to sort it out through my credit card company. Honestly, it's disappointing that they don’t put effort into filtering out these fake accounts. I stumbled across AMFling.com a few weeks back, and it was exactly what I needed. It's packed with beautiful women actually interested in meeting up, unlike Eharmony, which is all about online connections. Eharmony just focuses on virtual stuff and never leads to anything real. They toss a limited number of matches your way, and most of them are either fake, not a good fit, or live miles away. Their matching system really misses the mark.
