Our Alaska Photo Adventure was a wonderful experience.

Our Alaska Photo Adventure was a wonderful experience. Right from the start in Anchorage, we were able to visit various locations known for bird, moose, and black bear sightings. We then headed down the Kenai Peninsula, stopping at more places where wildlife is commonly seen. On the second and third days, we took a flight across the Cook Inlet to photograph brown bears in their natural habitats. The guides were very helpful in getting us close to the bears and positioning us for great photos. On the final day, we enjoyed a scenic fjord cruise and a helicopter ride over stunning mountains and glaciers. The extra cost for the helicopter ride was worth it, as it felt much shorter than expected. Ron is an expert in animal behavior, knows the best spots for wildlife, and is familiar with what animals are around at different times of the year. He is always ready with advice to help you capture great shots, and is very knowledgeable about photography and equipment. He even lent me a spare battery when I forgot to bring one along. Definitely a memorable trip, one I'd recommend to anyone!

Our Alaska Photo Adventure was very enjoyable. We started the trip right away on day one in Anchorage, visiting a few places where you can spot birds, moose, and even black bears within the city. Then we headed down the Kenai Peninsula with more stops to see animals up close. On days two and three, we flew across the Cook Inlet to photograph brown bears in the wild. The guides were amazing and helped us get close to the bears, making sure we had great opportunities for photos. On the last day, we took a fjord cruise and a helicopter ride over mountains and glaciers. The helicopter ride was quick but very exciting and worth the small extra cost. Ron is very experienced with animal behavior and knows exactly where to find the animals and when they’re there. He had great tips for getting good photos and was always ready to answer questions about photography or gear. He even lent me a battery when I forgot one. A wonderful trip I’ll never forget! Four stars!

This trip was a real standout during our time in Alaska!

This trip was a real standout during our time in Alaska! Capturing photos of bears was a dream for me on our Alaskan journey. Ron and his son Alec were great guides for taking pictures of the wildlife. We had tried an earlier bear tour with a different service, which was not good, since we could only get about 1/4 mile away from the bears. Ron knows bears well, including where they are and how they act... Plus, he's a photographer, so he gave us useful tips. His son Alec is a skilled bear spotter, noticing them before anyone else did, giving us those moments we needed for great shots. We recommend this company especially Ron very much. Thanks for making our Alaska trip a memorable experience we had wished for.

I highly recommend this. I had a great time with this experience and the tour. I got to enjoy some amazing Alaskan views, and at the same time, I improved my photography skills – a great combination in my opinion!
