    It took me a while but I finally figured out that lenses I received from lensdirect.com were poor quality. They seemed a bit off at first but I just wrote that off as "new frames, new lenses, I'll adjust." Well, after doing a comparison with the previous lenses there's no doubt. The quality control in producing my progressives was poor. Lensdirect.com offers some cheap frame options but their lenses are not much less than those of a conventional optometrist. Don't waste you're money trying to save a few bucks. It's not worth it.

    Ordered new lenses in July

    Ordered new lenses in July, sent my frames, waited 7 weeks for the new lenses, but guess what? Couldn't see a thing. Sent them back, waited another agonizing 8 weeks, got the lenses again, and still blind as a bat. They said return for a refund, which I did. Frames came back in October, but no refund yet. Hit them up multiple times, got the runaround. It's December, still no glasses, and staring at a hefty $554 bill. Absolute nightmare. Never, ever going near this company again. Just a heads-up, they're a total letdown.

    My experience with this company was quite bad. They mistakenly billed me for the next three months immediately after my initial purchase, and to make matters worse, it was charged to the wrong credit account. Although they resolved the issue when I contacted them, the promised refund will take 3-5 business days. Dealing with this inconvenience was certainly irritating.

    You wouldn't believe what happened with my glasses order! So, I place my order on Friday, but completely forgot to attach my prescription. Lens Direct was on it, sending me reminders on Saturday. But tech issues, ugh! I couldn’t upload it. I also ordered contacts—piece of cake. Then, I decided to reorder my glasses on Saturday, but I messed up and got regular sunnies instead of the cool Transition lenses I wanted. Spent all Sunday stressing about the cost of two pairs of glasses plus contacts. Tried to cancel on Sunday, but the bot said nope. Come Monday, I asked a better question and got Keisha. She sorted everything out in 10 minutes. Keisha for the win!

    I was in desperate need

    I was in desperate need of new lenses for my RayBan frames because my prescription changed to include astigmatism. Decided to go with Frames Direct and they really did a bang-up job. It took a few weeks, but once I got my glasses back, I could see the quality work they put into it. I went for progressive lenses with Xtractive Transitions, and now I'm wearing one of the two pairs. Honestly, they look and feel great. Kudos to FD for the excellent work! Heads up, though, waiting for seasonal discounts can save you quite a bit.
