    Flying back from Italy to

Flying back from Italy to NYC was supposed to be a breeze, but Delta managed to ruin that. My luggage came out with a bent frame, totally wrecked. Tried filing a claim, but Delta baggage folks said bent frames don't count as damage. Seriously? You could see it was hit hard by something heavy. Steel frame doesn’t just bend on its own. Spent weeks trying to reason with them, but it’s like talking to a wall. How can they not see a bent steel frame as damage? Unbelievable. Never flying Delta again, they clearly don't care about customer stuff.

    Man, Delta really did it

Man, Delta really did it again. I thought maybe they’d improved over the year, but no such luck. Booked a trip from Vegas to Green Bay through St. Paul, and the flight from St. Paul to Green Bay got delayed from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The last time they pulled this stunt, they canceled the flight at midnight and blamed it on the weather, which meant no compensation. Ended up driving the rest of the way, which was a nightmare. I fly pretty frequently, and honestly, Delta is the worst airline I’ve dealt with. Really frustrating experience.

    We were all set for

We were all set for our trip, but things went south real fast. Plane broke down right before takeoff, which meant we missed our connecting flight. Ended up driving for hours to another airport, only to miss that flight too. Talk about a nightmare. They knew the plane had issues but didn't have any spare parts or backup planes. Delays kept piling up and then the ticket agent couldn't even find our tickets. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. I can't believe how disorganized this airline is. Never flying with them again.

    Such a nightmare

I was stuck in a real mess trying to change my flight. It was booked for the 26th, but I needed it switched, so on the 23rd, I called in. What a nightmare. First, I waited forever, then the rep who finally picked up was just plain rude and no help at all. I thought maybe the next person would be better, but nope—hung up on me! Tried again, got to a supervisor, and guess what? Same attitude. I’m still waiting, hoping to find someone who knows what they’re doing. Seriously, how hard is it to get a little help without the runaround?

I was in quite a pickle with Delta recently. My flight got all messed up, and I missed my connection. I was stuck with no way to reach my destination on time, not even within 24 hours. One of their reps suggested I rent a car and promised they'd cover the cost. So, I ended up driving five hours in the dead of night to make it to my next flight. But now, they're saying they won't reimburse me for the car. It was a really frustrating experience, and I felt completely let down by their service. Not what I expected from Delta at all.

I booked a flight from Calgary to Boston, thinking it was Delta, but it turned out to be Westjet. My golf carrier was left behind in Calgary, and I only got it 18 days later in Scotland, all thanks to an AirTag I put inside. The bag was wrecked. Complained to Delta right away, but after 9 weeks, they said it wasn't their problem and to talk to Westjet. Westjet then told me I had missed the 7-day window to file a claim. Both airlines couldn't care less about customer service. Never flying with either again. Total nightmare.

    I've been flying with Delta

I've been flying with Delta for decades, but the past couple of years have been rough. My last four flights were just full of problems, and it feels like they forgot what good customer service is. The staff on the ground are friendly, but they can't really solve anything unless you push the issue further. Even then, the solutions are rarely satisfying. The flights themselves and the crews are still great, though I did have one bad experience. It's kind of sad to see such a decline in a company that used to be so reliable.

    I flew with this airline

I flew with this airline recently and it was a disaster. Felt like they only care if you're in first class. Staff on board were incredibly rude, like they couldn’t be bothered with us regular folks. Honestly, I’d rather swim to the USA than deal with such a disrespectful company again. They take your money and give zero care in return. If you're thinking about flying with them, just don't. Save yourself the headache and choose another airline. The way they treat paying customers is just awful. Avoid at all costs!

    I'd say avoid Delta

I recently flew with Delta and as a handicapped person, I booked first class expecting some assistance. Unfortunately, there was no wheelchair waiting for me, which was a huge hassle. When I reached out to Delta about it, they said it was an outside service and out of their control. The stewardesses didn't offer any help either. I was left alone in the causeway after the pilot and crew had already left the plane. If you have any special needs, I'd say avoid Delta, because they were just not there for me.

I was trying to book a flight on their website, and when it works, it's usually pretty smooth. Today, I found the perfect flight and everything, then went to pick my seat because I always need an aisle one. But guess what? You can't even select seats! They want you to go through the whole booking process and pay for the flight without knowing where you're gonna sit. Seriously? That's ridiculous. I'm not gonna risk it, so I'm probably gonna book with a different airline. Honestly, they need to fix this.

    Tried to get my flight

Tried to get my flight changed and spent a whole hour chatting with customer service. They finally did it, but then I saw they used 58,100 miles instead of the original 16,100. I had asked them beforehand if there would be any charges or conditions, but the guy just ignored my question. Never mentioned it would cost so many miles. This is ridiculous and very frustrating. Their customer service is a joke! Feels like they don't care about customers at all. Definitely not gonna recommend them to anyone.

I flew from Rome to Atlanta and experienced quite a hassle. The flight got delayed by 30 minutes, which was just the beginning. After a long wait at customs, I made it to the gate with 20 minutes to spare, only to find out Delta had given away my seat. The gate agents were no help at all, acting quite rude. I ended up stuck in Atlanta overnight. In frustration, I booked a flight home with Southwest instead. Delta really let me down this time, and I don't think I'll be flying with them again.

    Unbelievable

Bought a $250 e-gift card on Christmas Eve, 2024 for my parents' July 4th trip. When we tried to use it, we were told it had been used on Dec 28th for a Jan 4th flight. How did that happen?! If Delta’s system is so easy to hack, they shouldn't be selling these cards. We did nothing wrong but ended up out $250. Imagine if I had bought the $2000 max! Seriously, Delta, you need to tighten up your security. And who used it? At least give me their name so I can ask for a thank you! Unbelievable.

    I thought getting the Delta

I thought getting the Delta credit card was a smart move because they said I'd get a free checked bag. But then, just a few days before my flight, I found out I was actually flying with Air France. Guess what? They charged me $60 for the bag! I was so annoyed. I mean, the free bag was the whole reason I chose Delta in the first place. When I tried talking to customer service, they were no help at all. Just a heads up, this might happen to you too. My advice: steer clear of Delta if you can.

    Delta lost my luggage

Delta lost my luggage and it was a nightmare. I had nothing for my trip – no clothes, no toiletries, nothing. I ended up having to buy everything again, which was a huge hassle and expense. And what did Delta offer me for all the inconvenience? A measly $50 voucher. Like that's supposed to make up for all the trouble. It's ridiculous. I can't believe how poorly they handled the situation. Four days without my stuff, and they act like it's no big deal. Never flying with them again.

Man, this airline is a mess. Got delayed leaving Orlando, missed our connecting flight in Atlanta, and ended up over 4 hours late getting to our final stop. They admit we should get some compensation, but only offered €250 when we're actually owed €600. I've sent like 10 emails to this lady Allison from their We Care service, asking how they came up with that number. No clear answers, just a bunch of runaround. It's beyond frustrating. Delta, you really need to step it up!

I tried logging into the app with my Skymiles number, and it's been a nightmare. After calling them 5-6 times and wasting over 8 hours on the phone, all they say is it's an IT issue. Every time I try, I get this error message saying they can't locate my account and to check my info and try again. It's so frustrating. You'd think they'd have this sorted out by now, but nope. It's like no one knows how to fix it. I just want to access my account without all this hassle.

    Really bad experience

I recently had a really bad experience with this airline. They broke my suitcase and only let me claim for one, even though both were damaged. To make things worse, they refunded less than what I paid for it. When I was at the carousel, I noticed almost all the cases were damaged too. It's so frustrating because you expect better care for your belongings. I won't be using them again, it’s just not worth the hassle.

    Just had the weirdest flight

Just had the weirdest flight experience. The Wi-Fi barely worked the whole time, which was super frustrating. Tried checking in through their app, but that failed too. And to top it all off, we arrived an hour late because they messed up the daylight saving time switch. It's like they weren't prepared for any of it. Not the smoothest trip I've had, honestly.
