Mary is really nice and helpful. She helped me with my order many times. I also appreciated her telling me about the Wendell August store in Berlin, Ohio closing down. She mentioned that they don't make my favorite gift anymore, which was a bit disappointing. But whenever Mary helps me, I feel good about it.

Shopping for those annual

Shopping for those annual ornaments turned into a bit of a bummer. Wanted to surprise the wife and complete her collection, but no luck with the ones from 2015 to 2018. It's kind of weird, you know? In this day and age, with all the fancy tech, you'd think they could whip up anything folks want. Even though it threw a wrench in the plan, it won't stop me from hitting that store again. Everything else was cool, so here's to keeping the Christmas spirit alive!

The ornament I got for my daughter-in-law had her name all jumbled up – instead of Skylee, it proudly declared Sklee. Talk about a misspelling disaster. Now, I'm pretty sure it's too late to fix this festive fiasco with a reorder, and needless to say, satisfaction levels are taking a nosedive. Not exactly the holly jolly vibe I was going for.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with this company was marred by a simple yet frustrating issue – I did not receive the free shipping for my order, as I should have. Living less than 30 minutes away, I would have happily opted for a pick-up instead of paying for shipping that was initially supposed to be free. It's disheartening when sales and promotions are not accurately implemented, as it creates an unnecessary inconvenience for customers. Attention to such details is essential for a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience.

This year is my third year

This year is my third year of ordering the Annual Christmas Ornament for my family and friends. I liked the idea that when my grandchildren grew up and began living on their own, they would have a lovely collection of ornaments for their Christmas trees. However, an hour after I placed my order this year, I received an email offering free personalization on ornament orders. So, I called right away to ask if I could take advantage of the offer. The representative and her supervisor said I couldn’t do that because the order was already placed. Then they said I would have to cancel the original order and replace the order. The problem with that option is that I would also be charged for the second order until the first cancellation was processed through my bank. Being a senior citizen living on Social Security, that would be a hardship for me. So consequently, I couldn’t do that. Therefore, I’ll be receiving my ornaments without the free personalization. This experience has left such a negative feeling in my mind that I probably won’t be continuing this tradition. I’m sorry this has been such a long negative review, but having worked in retail, customer service was very important to my company. Apparently that’s not Wendell August Forge’s philosophy. I would hope you could understand my disappointment. I had hoped this would have been a long standing yearly Christmas tradition. But that’s highly unlikely now.
