I spent $298 with this company and never received the service that was promised. I can't believe the things the agent said to me on the phone and in emails. It’s hard to understand how this company has such high ratings. Are these reviews genuine or paid for? I have evidence that this company is dishonest, and I won’t give up until I get my money back.

Trevor seems like a decent SW agent

Trevor seems like a decent SW agent but the service he gave wasn't that remarkable. He helped solve a minor issue that another agent couldn't handle, though I wouldn’t say it was anything outstanding. Perhaps some acknowlegement is deserved, but not necessarily anything too big for this level of customer service.

I contacted Delta since my flight got altered

I contacted Delta since my flight got altered, and they helped me with a new booking. The first agent (Josh) canceled my flight and gave me ecredit without asking me. The supervisor Jessica was nice and helped me get my money back to the original payment.

After paying for my reservation and having my e-tickets, I received another email with the paid quote again. I called multiple times to 1 646 586_5047 but got different answers each time. It was a challenging experience. Thankfully, Alicia assisted me in the end.

Nearly fell for a scam!

Nearly fell for a scam! Saw a ticket on their site for half off, so I booked it. Got a call right after, saying the flight wasn't available and I'd have to pay 300% more! Requested a cancelation because they didn’t honor the advertised rate, and they said it would cost $75! After I threatened to contact authorities, they agreed to cancel for free.

Found ticket on their that is 50% less went ahead and booked Got a call in 10 minutes saying this flight is not available and I need to pay 300% of the price ! Asked to cancellation because they could not honor the advertised price and they said the penalty is $75 !! After warning them that I will report this to law enforcement they agreed for free cancellation

Mike Miller from Reservations initially gave me some unhelpful rate info. I took a moment to figure out my next move. Then Mike called with great news - he managed to lower the rate by 50%. I was really surprised to get a call back. Mike and I worked together to secure a room for this weekend at a fair price. For excellent service, ask for Mike Miller.

Masquerading as Southwest

I attempted to call Southwest Airlines to make sure I had early bird check in for a trip. Their number is 800-435-9792. I accidentally dialed 800-435-9762 which apparently connected me to thetravelmakers.us. I explained my issue to them and they never identified themselves and tried to charge me for early bird check in. When i declined the charge, they cancelled my flight with Southwest. Fortunately I was able to rebook when I called Southwest. I called 800-435-9762 and asked who I was talking to and the person identified themselves as Mytripbookers. I asked for and address and they hung up on me. I immediately tried to call again and now I just get a busy signal, I assume they are blocking me. I cannot say they actually identified themselves as Southwest but they never gave any indication that they were not and it is obvious that they are using a number similar to Southwest to lure in people.
