This program seemed like a good idea, and I was excited to try it. I had already been approved for IV treatments before, but I was worried about triggering a manic episode because of my bipolar 2 disorder. Microdosing seemed like the best choice to help with that. However, my experience with their healthcare person was not good. Especially when it came to managing my medications. I felt like they didn't trust me when there was a mistake in my medication list, even though I had updated it to show that I wasn't taking certain medications anymore. And even though I had been taking a low dose of Adderall for six years with regular medical check-ups, they didn't believe me when I said I didn't check my blood pressure every day. I didn't need to because I had records of every blood pressure test I'd had. I understand needing a letter from my psychiatrist to get a low dose of Ketamine, but asking for more medical documents and proof of my condition felt unfair. It made me feel like they thought I was lying about my diagnosis and medications. I can't recommend this company because of how they treated me. Dealing with depression and anxiety is hard enough without feeling like you're being interrogated just for trying to get help. This is why people are scared to talk about their mental health problems openly, because of stigma and punishment.

My experience with Joyous and their ketamine treatment left me deeply disappointed and concerned. I had high hopes for this treatment, but the way it was handled was far from satisfactory. Shortly after taking ketamine, my anxiety spiked significantly, which was unexpected and distressing. In response, I diligently reported my concerns during my daily check-ins. However, my attempts to seek help and understanding were met with a frustrating lack of support and empathy. The responses I received from Joyous appeared to be generic and automated, failing to address my specific issue. Despite detailing that nothing else had changed in my life and that I had followed the guidelines by not consuming caffeine near the medication, the responses remained unhelpful and didn't offer any insights or solutions. Given the increased anxiety I experienced as a result of the ketamine treatment and the inadequate support I received, I made the decision to discontinue it. Feeling worse and unsupported in such a situation is not only counterproductive but also potentially harmful. Joyous must make significant improvements to their customer care and transparency to ensure the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of their patients. The current state of their care team falls short of the standard one would expect in a healthcare context.

Joyous truly changed my life. I was struggling from anxiety after the traumatic loss of my late husband. It was greatly affecting my relationship with my current husband. I would have obsessive, intrusive worries about my husband - constantly afraid of being left alone again. I didn’t want to take SSRIs or anxiety medication because of past negative experiences. Joyous not only helped to change my thinking patterns, but I also began exercising regularly & consistently, which I had never been able to keep up with. I took piano lessons for a full year and kept learning and improving. Overall Joyous helped with my mental health, relationship, self-discipline, and self-esteem. After a little over a year on 100mg, I’ve decided it’s time to get off of ketamine. I am grateful for the immense change it has brought into my life - it has really turned me into a believer. This is NOT a sponsored review, I’m just really passionate about my results.

SCAMMERS THAT WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

Horrible Company. Making a profit off of sick and desperate people. Ive had alot of ketamine in my life and this had ZERO effect on me. I question what it is at all honestly. Then after I cancelled and only received ONE month of medication they continued to charge me for 5 months after. Even if they don't send you any more ketamine you will be charged 130$ for ever. I had to file a complaint with my bank and they still fought it. I ended up having to change my card number for them to stop attempting to charge me. It truly is a scam. Please, if you are depressed and in pain, this company will just make things worse for you in the long run. Disgusting people and NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM! You will NEVER get to speak to a real person. Scammers, liars, and taking advantage of the sick, depressed, and disabled

Microdosing ketamine for treatment-resistant PTSD has been a transformative experience for me. I don't experience any of the negative side effects like getting high or feeling nauseous, which can happen for some individuals. Instead, I've found that my mind opens up, relieving me of constant worry, fear, and anxiety. The nightmares have disappeared, allowing me to be more present for my family during challenging times. It has empowered me to navigate out of toxic relationships and into healthier ones. I've become more productive at work as I am no longer drained by anxiety. The therapists at Joyous are professional, caring, and supportive. I am grateful for this experience and hope it becomes accessible to all who need it. Thank you.

Disconnected and unresponsive

My initial experience with Joyous was moderately good. The provider consult wasn’t especially warm or personal but oh well. I commenced treatment, the important part, and then figured out a dose and timing that worked for me. However when I hit the timeframe for my provider check-in and I was running low on meds the program failed. First appointment the provider no showed, second appointment they booked for the wrong time zone and the provider couldn’t fit me in. Third appointment the provider no showed again. I texted my story and my concerns to customer service and in my appointment review. Bottom line I ran out of meds and have never once heard back from anyone connected to this company. Kind of unforgivable.

Combining the ketamine with weekly

Combining the ketamine with weekly, then bi-weekly, talk therapy has helped me understand and manage the "bad neighborhood" that I've always described my mind. At first, I still felt down, but over time, I learned coping skills, and I liked the effects of the ketamine a lot and learned to make the most of it. My sleep got better, I lost weight because my impulse control improved. I drink less, and I feel much better than I did when I started. I know it's a sudden end for me, but I'm ready to live my life more capable and in a better headspace than 15 months ago.

I scheduled an appointment and filled out all intake paperwork. I received confirmation of receipt and a link for the appointment. 5 minutes before my appointment I logged in. I waited 30 minutes. I called the company and they have a voicemail saying they do not take calls to please text . So I texted and no response. 24 hours later I received a text message saying sometimes they cancel appointments but they gave no reason as to why and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I will not be trusting my health to this company and I would not recommend wasting your time.

I liked how simple and straightforward the process was and the support I got to make sure my experience was best for me. The daily check-ins were helpful, and the longer check-ins too. I noticed a difference, especially with the kind of cloudy sadness I felt regularly, which went away after a few weeks. When I renewed my prescription, my friends noticed a change, and my scores for depression and anxiety improved a lot. I'm grateful for the support.

This med'cation was truly life changing! I neva' thought that a med'cation could completely change my thoughts/react/patterns n' do so so fast. I have learned via this med'cation how to feel my feelings, look at situ's thru a diff'rent lens n' have so much compassion for myself. I look at life so diff'rently. Terrible Communication

They will only communicate via text message. I was not able to get service because of misinformation back and forth. I gave up on their services. Their responses via text are also canned responses and they do not reply with very much input. I found it impossible to communicate with this company. They do not a phone option at all and feels like I am talking to a BOT in text.

I enjoy this service. I struggle with big sadness and nerves and feel awesome after using Joyous for a bit. If you're calm and do what the doc says, it might help you like it helped me. I think the slow steps were important... taking it slow really helped. Meditation was a big deal for me and helped a lot.

The Joyous team was good. I used their treatment for around 3 months, but it didn't do much for my depression. It felt calming and peaceful, so it might work better for people dealing with anxiety. I suggest giving it a shot anyway. I didn't have any bad reactions, it just wasn't my thing.

Meds don’t reach patients on time

Three times in a row, the company was unable to get medicine to me before I ran out. If you’re taking a higher dose, that can really hurt your ability to sleep and eat, going to zero. The company offers no reimbursement for not providing medication on time.
